I have Hubspace ceiling lights that are sooo much easier to control than what you guys have going on here. Please adopt what they do. My set-up is 30 lights and two transformers. Certainly not complicated but this app makes it unfun. ### 1/5 — Pathetic *2025-06-17, version 2.8.1* For the cost of lights this is the most frustrating app. Nothing works. Takes forever to load if it even loads. Can’t change and save any new automations. So basically stuck with one option. App is up to date so that clearly doesn’t matter. Takes forever to load in, you can’t delete automation or groups without it failing every time or just sits and spins with nothing happening. This needs an overhaul immediately or the system will be getting removed very quickly. Pretty difficult when you have an expensive system that you can’t even operate. Useless at the moment, it’s the weekend. Could not be worse. ### 1/5 — Good Luck *2026-03-21, version 3.0.0* I’m a network admin with 20+ years experience and can confidently tell you that every effort to get these lights to join your WiFi network or stay connected for any significant period of time will be met with disappointment. Total trash. Find a dev with a Claude code sub and vibe code a better app then this trash. ### 1/5 — Even worse than the WAC app *2026-03-15, version 3.0.0* After hours of converting our Ventrix system from the WAC app to MyWAC, the app doesn’t control any of the fixtures and you can’t great groups. Query Group ID failed. You can’t remove old or offline fixtures. It blends all the fixtures together in one list and not by room so you have to rename the fixtures with the room name tag if you want to try and create a room group. But the room Group won’t save anyway. ### 1/5 — Sucks *2026-02-02, version 2.9.3* My landscaper stuck me with this program. The app seriously sucks. You can’t program much. Nothing is automated. What is. The point?! I have to do everything manually. Not worth the money and am disappointed I am stuck with this product for the foreseeable future. ### 1/5 — Lousy and pathetic *2026-01-18, version 2.9.2* I’ve had this since September. It took a good month to get everything to work correctly. Needed to replace the transformer as the first one wouldn’t connect to the network. Worked fine and a was even able to program colors for Christmas. Unfortunately now none of the programs function properly. The lights come on as scheduled but the colors a a mix of my standard and Christmas. Attempts to fix programming have been futile The app takes forever to load and “save” changes results in a frozen app. Do not buy this product. I wanted Phillips hue but the installer didn’t offer as an option. This product was a waste of money. Hopefully the wiring can be salvaged because I will need to eventually change and don’t want to have to rip up the yard to do it ### 1/5 — Junk *2026-01-17, version 2.9.2* Does not work ### 1/5 — App *2025-11-28* The lights have great quality and the color is fantastic! 5* The MyWAC App is a Negative 1 not a 1. Whoever is in charge of QA and Development needs to be held accountable. How could you permit this thing to be released to customers. If this continues, I’m afraid the company will no longer exists ### 1/5 — Agree with JSBull *2025-11-27, version 2.8.6* Invested $$$ and countless hours of my time and with tech support trying to make this app work. Response time is terrible, automations and schedules do not save, adjustments to either don’t save, and continuing to struggle with simple functions. Why can’t you make an app that is somewhat intuitive and functions as it should? It is embarrassing ### 1/5 — Needs a ton of improvement *2025-11-19, version 2.8.6* The app is really bad. Buggy ... counter intuitive. Impossible to program!! ### 1/5 — Embarrassment to WAC *2025-11-18, version 2.8.6* Any company that puts out an app this awful doesn't have any pride in the quality of their product. It barely worked at first, and has stopped working completely now. It takes about 1 minutes to start up, showing a blank black screen the entire time. Schedules can't be edited or created. Any step takes minutes to complete, then nothing actually changes. I'm stuck with things the way I set them up the week I installed the lights, as the app stopped working after that. Ever since the time change my sun up/down automation has stopped working. The lights come on several hours before sundown and turn off hours before sunup. Prior to daylight savings time it was working fine. I am also having a problem with my transformers. They will not connect to the cloud. ### 3/5 — Could be better *2024-06-26, version 2.0.3* I have had my lights installed for about four months now. I have six transformers and 50+ lights. The lights are beautiful, the app is questionable. If you make any changes to an existing automation, that automation is toast! You have to start over and create it however you want it to be if you expect it to work. Fixtures often go off-line and require a transformer reboot. Ever since the last daylight savings time change, the sunrise/sunset timing feature no longer works. So, I have to keep changing the time the lights come on if I want it to be close to sunset. For the tens of thousands, I paid for this system I would expect a better app. ### 2/5 — Woefully Lacking *2024-09-20, version 2.2.0* I'm really disappointed in this app. It is hard to navigate and nonintuitive. It's a shame because WAC makes a great product.
