It’s the closest I’ve found to what I need/want. You can choose your streaming shows or movies and put them in a list. You have 3 categories; to watch, watching, watched. They have a where to watch section at the bottom of each shows screen so you can see which apps are streaming it. Very nice. There is a note section m also helpful. Each show screen tells you how many seasons there are of the show, that’s great too. You can also choose a list to look at; everything, movies, or TV shows to trim down what you are looking at. Here is where the app doesn’t get my last star. To make it perfect we need to be able to add air dates, like every Thursday or every Sunday. Maybe even, All episode out. Don’t know about you all, but I lose track of what day of the week my shows are streaming. Would also be nice to have season (1, 2, 3, etc) to mark off so you can keep track of what season you are on. If they had those options, maybe beef up the sorting options, the app would be perfection. I also don’t mind paying to use an app that makes my life easier. Please keep the annual subscription option, I hate month to month subscriptions. ### 4/5 — Almost exactly what I want… *2022-09-01, version 1.6.1* I’ve read other reviews, and they have some good points for additions, i.e. seasons of a show, lists for a franchise a la Marvel movies… those would be cool and all, but the one thing that would bump this to a 5 star for me is just a section to show new releases or (and I know this is a lot harder to implement) a “based off your watched” section, just for easy adding on to the to watch list. Maybe even just add it to the spot the app brings you when you hit search, before you type anything. Just a list of most popular or something. Searching for a movie is fine, but if we could add this to the app, that would be next level imo. ### 4/5 — Useful but could be cooler *2022-02-07, version 1.4.0* I like being able to tell where each movie or show is available but I would enjoy the ability to also make lists within either the watched or to be watched sections - for movie night ideas or by franchise or whatever the user wants to sort them by. However, Needs to be able to track by individual show from a series though. Bonus, if a widget is added to keep track of what’s next. Today the app staring using a login. Needless to say all of my watchlist movies now are gone so OK I decided to sign up and the App does not except my email address or password saying that I need to verify if I’m connected to the Internet, which I am there’s no help anywhere to resolve this issue. ### 1/5 — Search icon keeps disappearing. *2023-10-05* I would love this app if it worked. But I repeatedly find that suddenly there is no more search icon on the page. And no way to get to any other page. And when I close the app, it reopens on the same page that has no other possibilities. Then I delete the app. And download it again. And use it for a while. And then the search icon again disappears. And the ability to navigate to a different page. ### 1/5 — Stuck on first input *2023-02-21, version 1.6.1* Entered one input and the app stuck …can’t add another ### 1/5 — UNETHICAL ADS *2022-05-24, version 1.6.0* Great app that’s realistically around a 4-star rating BUT it’s getting 1 star for implementation of annoying advertisements. Please remove the ads for pre-existing users of this app. I’ve been using the app for a long time with no issue so it’s annoying for it to suddenly start displaying annoying ads out of the blue. I’m not paying a monthly subscription to something I’d been using freely just to get rid of ads that weren’t initially there. I understand supporting the development of the app but please remove ads; at least for your old users. ### 2/5 — Friends and family Christmas *2023-12-27, version 1.6.1* I search for and did not find this movie on MyWatchlist app. Please add. ### 2/5 — Poor design *2022-12-28, version 1.6.1* Nothing in life is free, if the app is free then the human is the product. With that said the more information you get out of the partnership the better for both parties. The search options are crude and have unnecessary steps to complete the task of posting want to watch/watching/watched. Search>select>click “back”>click movie>click option (want to watch/watching/watched)>click “back”. Yeah that many steps. Why not, search and press the prefilled option (want to watch/watching/watched)!? Yeah, yeah “…but we need to post ads!” Ok fine, do what I have recommended and after maybe 5 or so clicks you through in a 5 second commercial! Good grief, not that difficult if the end result is a better profit output in the end. Oh abs when are you going to add seasons to tv shows. Is one guy running things!? ### 3/5 — It’s good but buggy *2022-11-29, version 1.6.1* Been looking for something to keep track of my list and love it! Only problem I’ve noticed so far is when sorting from A-Z some titles get lost/arent there. ### 3/5 — Clean UI; Needs a few improvements *2021-11-10, version 1.1.0* I love how clean and non cluttered the app is. I just think there’s a few things that should be added. First, I’d love it if it didn’t auto exit the search list after selecting one movie. This is particularly annoying when I’m trying to add a whole series(example: Harry Potter) to my list and I have to search Harry Potter 7 times. I’d rather search it once then hit add on all the movies in the series. Second, it would be nice if you could mark specific seasons of shows that you have watched. That way you can keep track of what you still have left. This would be especially useful for a show that’s still actively releasing seasons. Third, the ability to filter out movies or tv shows on your lists. Should be an easy addition. Lastly, a stats page accessible through your profile where you can see how many movies/tv shows you have watched. For even more depth you could pull run times from IMDb and show us stats on how many hours/minutes we’ve watched. I would love to keep this app but it lacks a few useful features. ### 4/5 — Great app, few needed features *2025-09-28, version 1.6.1* This app works great. I’d love to see a way to mark off seasons on TV shows. I’d love to see a way to request movies or shows to be added (lord of the rings two towers, and the pursuit of happiness 2006 aren’t on yet). I’d love more sorting options, and a way to group a series of movies in your list ### 4/5 — Simple and easy *2025-02-23, version 1.6.1* Simple and easy to use. Keeps track of what you want to watch, watching and watched in separate tabs. The option to add notes is a great feature. The only con is that the search function does not always display the movie/show. Sometimes you have to remove certain words to get it to show the movie. Kinda weird. Example: Don’t Breathe and Don’t Breathe 2. It won’t show either movie unless you only put “don” or “breathe” in the search box. I wouldn’t mind paying if it wasn’t for that issue. This app has saved me so much time to pick out movies on family movies nights, instead I can go onto my watchlist and pick something new. Or perhaps if I’m in a more nostalgic mood, I could go onto my already watched list and pick something more familiar. And I shouldn’t even mention how I forget about a show I’m watching and end up having to restart it. It was so annoying, but now I can be reminded to finish my show on my currently watching list. Also, I love how it shows the data of the movies/shows I’ve watched! I never even knew I liked fantasy movies so much before downloading this app!
