The WebComics Application is a free web comic reader removing all the overhead a regular comic website would give you. I will probably continue using it, but only for comics I am all the way up to date on, so I don't have to sift through them or deal with the hassle. Features like displaying alt text, jumping to a specific page of a comic, and saving your place, along with debug and update would definitely make this at least a 4 star, more comics or the ability to add your own easily would bump that to a 5. ### 1/5 — sigh. *2011-05-05, version 1.1* yeah it is a free app, but you know what? it's been neglected. for over a year and a half. the dev's have completely abandoned this web comic app, and it was so promising too. their are adds, bugs, glitches, and not to mention slow. if you scroll down on the last release, it was in 2009 2009!!!!! it's two years later. just ignore this app. the developers don't care if you get it or not. there hasn't been a single update since BEFORE the iPhone 3GS even came out! To the maker of this app: don't quit your day job. ### 1/5 — Kills QC's (Jeph Jacques') income!! *2010-12-30, version 1.1* Jeph (and his wife) BUY GROCERIES using the income from ads on his website, QuestionableContent.net He has stated repeatedly that any software which *blocks* or *removes* these ads is STARVING HIM. If you're going to make a mobile-friendly version, please WORK WITH HIM (and other webcomic artists) to ensure they can still *MAKE A LIVING* from *DOING WHAT THEY LOVE* (their life's passion). Don't remove these ads.
