This app is so slow and buggy despite basically just being the mobile version of the site. Discontinuing myfitnesspal would be fine except it doesn’t read in HealthKit data properly at all. Please hire a better developer. I’m tired of manually putting in data that should be synced automatically. ### 1/5 — Not an App - this is just a bad browser *2019-02-15* I can see no point in launching an App if it is just a browser - and a particularly poor one at that. The response time is awful, the screen contents jump around, the drop downs don’t work properly on my iPhone, things don’t fit on the screen, the pop up wi does are too small, scrolling doesn’t work. THIS HAS BEEN ON ONGOING, THEY DO NOT LOOK AT THE REVIEWS!! ### 1/5 — Access Code Too New? *2021-10-28, version 2.0.13* I’ve tried logging multiple times now using the system generated password but I repeatedly get a message saying I have either entered the password incorrectly or it is too new and try again later. I double checked the password and even generated a new one. Same problem. Can’t use the app. Deleted. ### 1/5 — Deleting tracking after it’s counted?! *2021-08-16* This app needs a major update just fyi it’s super clunky. But it also has a major glitch and deletes my steps out of my tracking. Of course there is no way to add them back in. This is super super frustrating because it sets back my progress in challenges too. Please fix this ASAP. ### 1/5 — App will not sync with Apple Watch *2021-05-20* I have tried for 15 months to get this app to sync with my Apple Watch on a regular basis and it simply does not work. The sync worked for a total of 4 days over the 15 month period and I have finally scrapped any hope of it working again. It’s a shame because my employer runs wellness events through the health designs vendor and they use this application to track and verify our participation in the events. ### 1/5 — Incompatible with Apple Watch *2021-02-02* This app is supposed to be able to track activity with an Apple Watch via Google Fit. I cannot link this app to Fit, nor can I get a solution from support. ## Most praised reviews (2 highest-rated) ### 2/5 — Can’t sync steps accurately *2020-04-09* I downloaded this app in hopes of pairing with my Apple Watch. It does not sync steps accurately. While MyHealth, Activity and Googlefit ALL track my steps and ALL say the same number (10,000 steps) the app will tell me a different number (say, 1,872) which leads me to manually input my steps, completely defeating the purpose of me downloading the app on the first place. ### 2/5 — User interface *2019-04-30* The UX of this app and website are not very easy to navigate. Signing up for a team worked with a click of a button but there was no confirmation and the screen still said I had to chose a team. The step goal is the main part of the program but entering the number is in the middle of the page and very small and hard to see. An option to turn off notification emails for every milestone would be appreciated.
