The app regularly stops syncing with the MyZone3 system and displays incorrect information and doesn’t control the system, I.e it leads the customer to think that the changes they are making on the app (hotter, colder, etc) are being actioned, however they have absolutely no impact on the MyZone3 system. Come on MyZone3, take responsibility for this absolutely rubbish app and help your paying customers by providing something that actually works. ### 1/5 — Average *2022-11-21, version 2.4.4* App constantly crashes, closes and will not reload. Slow to communicate with a/c system. Probably time for the developer to put some work into the app ### 1/5 — To the developer: *2022-06-06, version 2.1.1* This app needs to be brought into the 21st century and have many bugs fixed: - Modernise the GUI - data is very slow to refresh, with some room temps/selected inputs showing before others (as well as one connected app (phone) showing different data to another simultaneously connected app) - when accessing away from home, the app constantly says ‘login failed’ however then appears to sluggishly work (sometimes need to force close and reopen to confirm selection made has actually gone through) - the unit doesn’t always work as it should (eg. the unit keeps heating a couple of degrees past the set point even if it’s the only room on ‘climate’ and others set to ‘open’) - controlling zone option to be more easily selected (ie. automatic vs user selected) - get rid of all the unnecessary add ons (ie, irrigation/sound system etc), I can’t imagine anyone wanting to use this app over a sleek well designed product like Sonos / Hydrawise etc). ### 1/5 — Disaster! *2022-05-22, version 2.1.1* We’ll be lucky if they maintain this app once a year. App is totally unusable, crashes every time a change is made to any settings. Don’t waste your money on this system. Look elsewhere for a proper Zoning system. Very disappointed. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — They broke the app *2026-01-09, version 3.1.3* It’s been working fine for years, but in the latest version any change to the temperature of any room via the app causes the set temperature to change to the minimum temperature allowed (15 degrees for mine) 30 seconds later. They’ve introduced a bug somehow that now makes the app unusable for remote control. Can developers please fix this. ### 1/5 — No longer working :( *2026-01-04, version 3.1.3* No longer working since the app updated to a new interface. Extremely frustrating, fix it asap. ### 1/5 — Hopeless app *2025-11-07, version 3.1.3* Takes ages to open. I don’t understand how it’s supposed to work. Previous app was much better. It’s obvious from feedback that this app is a disaster. I’m not interested in other items added on. I just want one good app for heating and cooling. It’s slow, clunky and ugly. I don’t like using it anymore. It’s ripe for modernising with shortcuts support and widgets. If you’re thinking about buying this system for your home a/c. Maybe do some more research in to other options. Best way to make use of the Myzone3 app, for the AC at least. Is to set up once, register for the worldwide use. Then add it to google home via the iZone Home option when adding “works with google”. There is a couple of second delay in response when changing things in Google Home, but at least you don’t have to mess with the MyZone app all the time. ### 2/5 — Was working *2025-01-14, version 2.4.5* Now it’s not syncing in and letting me control it from my phone --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
