Since N-able have got there hands on it. The remote control function is garbage and restricted to landscape view. Total rubbish. ### 1/5 — Utter trash *2021-08-03, version 2.3.0* It was bad before the update. Now it’s literally unusable. It’s stuck in vertical mode, which is ridiculous to say the least. Some of the KB keys don’t work, namely the “@“. Need it to login to your app guys,…….what a mess. As much money as we give them every month, you’d think they could make that worked. Boy do I miss LogMeIn. This app, that hasn’t been updated for over a year, is barely functional and constantly crashes. Considering the cost of the platform I expect a better solution. ### 1/5 — Why so slow? *2021-01-06, version 1.1.2* With the amount of money my company as well as others, Im sure, spends on this software there is absolutely NO reason I shouldnt be able to work on a client machine remotely from my phone or tablet. The load times are ridiculous, the app times out when it finally does load and the functionality is poor. Take some of the money you charge for the desktop version and put it into R&D for your iOS and Android apps. Unusable for reliable RMM. I want to simply travel with my IPad instead of lugging around a laptop. It’s ridiculous at this point, that this company cannot provide a solid working IOS App so that people like me can assist customers from IOS devices. Having an IPad in the car, on a plane, at a hotel is much more convenient and practical than traveling with a laptop. Now with a new IPAD AIR with keyboard and touchpad, it would be so nice to just use this....but your app doesn’t work and I’m forced to continue to lug a computer around everywhere I go. Fix it..... ### 1/5 — Very disappointing and out of date App, and a let down to the great product that is RMM *2020-10-07, version 1.1.2* SolarWinds RMM is a great product, one of the best on the market, but that makes this App even more disappointing, its out of date, clunky and is not fit for purpose, come on guys, update it so it does you justice. In todays fast paced world where techs are on the move, a functional RMM app for iPhone and iPad is vital - this hurts my eyes and given the price of RMM, my wallet too! ### 1/5 — Outdated and Limited Functionality *2020-09-25, version 1.1.2* The app hasn't been updated in ~2 years and I'm unaware of any other alternative from SolarWinds. The update has also completely wrecked remote access. The other apps that could be useful updated 2+ years ago. Totally unacceptable for as much as we the MSP pays for their services. Totally unacceptable! It is not very helpful with information and the screen option and filters are too limited. I went to view failed checks and couldn’t find anything useful. I wonder, how secure this app is…. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t sync? *2022-05-06, version 2.4.4* We are relatively new to the “new” SolarWinds, or rather N-able platform and while some things seem to work well enough to have us move over from ConnectWise, there are some nagging basic things that just don’t work. Things like a very BASIC sync of their data to this iOS app, or the various departments not talking to each other, or even not all of their marketing PDF’s for endpoint protection using the name changeover. I’m in month six of a twelve month commitment and quite frankly, I’m a bit disappointed in the disjointed strategy. ### 1/5 — Worthless *2021-12-23, version 2.4.2* Like most of nable/solar winds products this app is garbage. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2021-11-12, version 2.4.1* We give SolarWinds now N-Able over $10,000 a month for the privilege of using their MSP tools. It would be nice if they could join the modern era and offer a companion app that works. Tons of things cause the app to crash, the UI is clunky, functionality is lacking.
