Nach 5 Jahren funktionierte die App endlich mal und zeigte tatsächlich alle Passwörter an ohne abzustürzen. Aber ein iOS Update vor 3 Tagen und schon geht sie gar nicht mehr auf. Heute konnte man generell den halben Tag nicht auf seine Passwörter zugreifen! Ein Cloudflare-Problem. Aber die Rechnungen gehen wirklich immer. Da wird die ganze Entwicklungsabteilung dran gesetzt. Da gab es wirklich noch nie Probleme! Alte Rezension: Ständig zeigt sie keine Passwörter. Manuelles aktualisieren führt zum Absturz der App. Nach mehr als 5 Jahren werde ich mich nun nach anderen Anbietern, auch im Bereich RMM, etc. bemühen. Zuverlässig kommen neue Features aber nur gegen Aufpreis, der das jeweilige Feature nicht wert ist und die regelmäßigen Preiserhöhungen sind das Einzige was wirklich zuverlässig funktioniert. ### 1/5 — Clunky and basically un-usable *2025-11-18, version 2.8.01* This app is broken more often than not. Recently it was lot of entries not showing up. New version came out today… everything seems to show up… But I don’t have permission to see any password. (But I do have permission… it used to work on the app and it’s working on the web page..) It’s just not very modern and it feels like an after thought on the n-able team. Also, it’s always crashing when I load it up. I can uninstall the app and reinstall it, but after a while, it’s back to the same old. I am frustrated that I can’t just load it up. However, the web browser extension I use has been working wonderfully. I just wish that they would fix the app and make it stable and user friendly. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great for enterprise use *2026-03-08, version 3.0.01* We implemented passportal as a mandatory password manager for our company and it is incredibly helpful. The browser extension is a godsend. We can create security based folders to share passwords with different departments and also keep a private list of passwords for ourselves. I use it to create complex and unique passwords now as a best security practice. ### 5/5 — Finally an app *2019-04-01, version 1.6.5* So far it’s great for a tech who works remote a lot. I constantly have to log back in or passwords won’t fill in safari. When I bounce back to Passportal to refresh this will sometimes fix it or just crash the app. There’s also an issue with the bottom half of the screen going missing as another user mentioned. ### 3/5 — Good but can be better *2023-09-07, version 2.2.4* I’ve had Passportal for over a year now. Using it in browser is great, I couldn’t live without it. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the iPhone app. I continually have a glitch when I view credential list, the bottom half of the screen is blank and you can only view in the top half of the screen. This issue has been intermittent for the the last year and hasn’t been fixed.
