Hi.  I have owned my razer nabu since 2015 and i have had no issues with it... The app however needs to be FIXED. ASAP.  If you close the app, and open it maybe a minute or more later, the app wont recognize that the device (in my case a nabu x) as connected.  So you have to go into Bluetooth and forget the device and then re set it up.    All can be fixed in an update.   Please Razer. Fix this.  It is a great product and i would hate to have it be ruined by a glitchy app.

The app is great! A bit clunky to navigate but I’ve seen much worse. The only real complaint I have is that the app will crash 2 or 3 time while trying to open it.

I love Razer and I have many of their products. I thought the smartwatch would be amazing, and it is, but the app to use it is complete and total trash. I hold the button to connect and it’ll either say it’s found and then try to load for a bit the say try again OR it won’t do anything at all and say try again. And I got the watch because of everything it says you’re able to do, especially since it’s a hell of a lot cheaper than an Apple Watch. But good god fix this freakin’ app to make the product actually useful.

Ok when I was trying to connect my Nabu X, it asked me to use bluetooth. Then after that, the screen poped up and asked me if I want to match my Nabu X or not. When I clicked "yes", it failed connection. If I clicked "No", it crashed or I successfully connected, it asked me to update my firmware, then it crashed. There you go, all this app does is crashing and telling you to retry. And you cannot use Nabu X without this app, what a Razer product!

The app is trash.  Sometimes shows the device as disconnected although it is not.  Also the battery level status in the app is usually wrong.  It may say 24% battery in the app but reality it's probably still charged.

The app is great and great then update messed it all up.  Now it won't let me swipe to see what I did over the past week it will freeze up and I have to reset my entire phone

I used the app and then it froze, so I tried to close the app but I couldn't. I then tried to lock my phone but then my phone wouldn't unlock. To fix I had to do a hard reset. This app needs a lot of work...

When I first bought my watch the app worked.  After the first app update my watch would not sync to the app.  Then the next update to the app sort of fixed it but would not keep the sync.  Now the app just freezes and crashes my phone.  This app needs to be updated.

The theory and ideas are there, however the app will frequently freeze up my entire phone. I need to reset my phone in order to get my phone to work again. This used to happen only once in a while, now I find I need to reset my phone daily.
My husband thought that it might just be my phone, so what I did is spend a few random days without accessing the app and had no problems at all on those days. The moment I use the app again, phone freezes. This needs to get fixed.

Alright. I finally am taking time to review the Nabu Watch product. While Razer is known to have outstanding computer products. I've had my fare share of frustrations with the Razer Nabu Watch standard edition. The application is rather much buggy. Originally, I did not have to continually use the application in the background. Now, I have to due to it would tell me no connection via Bluetooth and the clock would be off entirely, and also Now, it freezes up my iPhone SE completely while trying to sync data to the phone. Ideally, this never happened before up until 3 weeks ago. I have lost over 3 months of data just recently and I have no clue why. ( I am guessing from all the constant resetting my SE type iPhone so often..)  Also, if you don't sync your Watch before midnight.. you lose data too. Razer, your application needs a major fix to run on SE type phones. I am saying the price of the products on point, but I caution users due to software problems I've had.

I give this 3 stars because you can't add friends and challenge them like you can with the Fitbit app even if you guys made another app that would be awesome jape if you do it let's me challenge friends that have a Fitbit and counting steps to see who has more

As soon as I updated the app my watch will no longer sync with the app, I have tried resetting the watch multiple times and it still won't sync, please update app again.

The app will not open. During the set up process it will not get past the Apple health section in the app now will not stay open just keeps crashing. Without the app the razor Nabu watch is useless.

needs more ipdate sync problems is terrible and had some issues if you sync your time on your iphone 6s or any other iphone I just say iphone 6s coz im using it I had this watch 2016 upto present “2018” I’m a razer fan btw coz I have own alot of keyboard and mouse and headphones on their brands. But I just need to rate the nabu watch for its app.

I just got the Nabu in the mail. Been waiting for it for a week.   I opened the box and all was great.  I downloaded the app and started setting it up.  I looked at the screen of the Nabu and it only worked in the middle. There was dead parts on the screen.    I tried to message Razer. No reply. I wrote a comment on there facebook. Once again no reply.   I have looked and looked all over to try and fix it.   
I’m sending it back and going to find a different smart band

The app not working properly, once i add a device and close the app it required again to sync the band as new band, before want like that, im not receiving notifications on the band.
Please do something it’s really hard to but something and in the end will not work as you want.
We need help here.

I see everyone else has been giving this app such crappy reviews and saying it doesn't work. I don't know if Razer updated it or what happened but honestly the app has worked great for me since I got it and I am loving the nabu and phone sync, it's great! I had to re-install the firmware on the watch once because it stopped showing notifications but that fixed it and I haven't had any complaint since, and that's easy to do. I love the app!

Waited a long time to get my Nabu and now that I have it I can say that I'm very satisfied. It syncs up very easily to my phone and the Nabu app and tracks everything I expected it to. And having the screen notifications on my wrist is very convenient, especially when you're preoccupied with something else.
I'll definitely be using this to help me with my cardio workouts too!

The reason the band is sometimes annoying is when it accidentally disconnects and you have to re-pair it using the charger, which is not with all the time. I wish Razer would fix this problem.

I needed to delete the app and re-pair my Nabu X in order to fix my issue or the band constantly disappearing. No data was lost and everything has been working well for me since.

Until today, I was still using the combination of the Nabu X utility & fitness apps.  I was wondering why my device kept disconnecting from my phone, and why I couldn't access the fitness app at all.  Coming from the not-for-ios9 apps to this has been quite refreshing.  So far (again, only 1 day of use) it's been working well, and I like that multiple alarms can now be set, along with customizing the notification lights.

First impression: the app is working for me, and the added functions are nice.

Only 4 stars because I had to search for information before I found out that the old Nabu apps weren't compatible with iOS 9, and that there was a "new" app for the X (older app, but new functionality in-app). Still, it works, and doesn't appear to have any issues as of yet.

I've been using the Nabu for a few months now.  I believe my main complaints are probably not due to the app not working correctly, but due to the device itself:
1) The sleep function on the device does not automatically sense when I am sleeping; I must manually start it in the app.  When I wake up, I must manually turn it off in the app.  The app does not show any type of analysis, only that I was asleep. 
2) The activity gauge does not work.  I can walk on the treadmill, use the rowing machine, or just simply stay active for an hour straight, and it might record that I was active for 5 minutes or so. 
Other than that, the app is ok.  Sometimes after charging the device, I have to restart my phone to get it to sync, even though I don't let it die completely.

Just received my developer band today and I've been tinkering around with it. Band aside, the app does what it's supposed to do, and I find the UI pleasant to work with and oozing the Razer charm we've come to know and love. 

That being said, one of the most impressive—and perhaps worrisome—features of the app is the ability to download Nabu apps straight from within the Utility app itself. This is impressive because it obviates the need to go through the App Store. 

It's also worrisome because it potentially removes Apple's scrutiny of apps from being installed on your device. I'm still not fully up to speed with the app-vetting process from Razer just yet, but I'm going to immediately begin work on my app and see what happens.

So I’m leaving a review here for anyone trying to get a Nabu Watch or band working. App downloads and runs fine on my iPhone 12 pro. Pairing the watch is a breeze first time around. Occasionally the app loses the watch, and then the watch stops giving notifications. If you try to re-pair through the app the app crashes. Go to your Bluetooth settings and forget device. App works fine after that. I use it daily.
