## What is Nagi & Me?

Nagi is a calm that listens.

When your head is loud, Nagi & Me is a quiet, private place to put things down — by text or by voice, whenever you need it. Not a chatbot pretending to be your friend, and not a clinic. Just a steady, listening calm that helps you feel a little less alone.

Nagi (nah-ghee) is the Japanese word for the calm when the wind drops and the sea goes still. That's what we're here to be.

COMPLETELY ANONYMOUS
No name. No email. No account to create. Nothing you say is connected to who you are — it stays on your device. You can talk freely here; that's the whole point.

TALK HOWEVER SUITS YOU
Type it, or say it out loud. Nagi listens and answers gently, in a warm, natural voice if you want it — or quietly on screen if you'd rather just read.

NOTICE HOW YOU'RE REALLY DOING
Log how a day feels in seconds, and see how things shift over time. A short weekly reflection (the Lumetrix S8) gives you an honest read on your mood and anxiety — no right answers, just a picture you can watch settle.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
- No name, no email, no sign-up
- Your conversations and diary stay on your device
- Leave in a hurry any time — a quick exit closes to a neutral page
- You can export or delete everything

WHO IT'S FOR
Anyone who wants somewhere calm and judgement-free to talk — especially at night, when everything feels heavier. People who overthink. People who'd rather speak than type. Anyone who wants to understand their own patterns without handing over their identity.

SIMPLE MEMBERSHIP
Your first 15 messages are free — no card, no account, nothing to cancel. After that, membership keeps Nagi here whenever you need it. It's monthly or annual, with a 7-day free trial on every new membership, and the exact price for your country is shown before you pay. You'll choose your plan and confirm payment through the App Store before the trial starts, and we'll remind you before it ends. Cancel any time, in one tap — cancel during the trial and you pay nothing.

PLEASE NOTE
Nagi is designed for personal reflection and emotional support. It is not a therapist, a doctor, or a substitute for professional mental health care. If you're in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please reach out to a real person who can help right away — the app shows the right support lines for where you are.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.4 — 2026-09-01

Nagi now opens a conversation differently.

If you begin with something small — "I don't know where to start", or just hello — Nagi answers by making room, rather than putting a question straight back to you. Start wherever you like, and take as long as you need to get to it.

That is the only change in this version.

### 1.4.3 — 2026-08-26

You can now switch from monthly to annual from Settings — you'll be charged the annual price straight away, with whatever is left of your month credited against it.

Managing your membership now opens right inside the app instead of sending you out to a browser.

Prices show in your own currency up front, and we've added two more support lines: 13YARN in Australia and the Suicide Crisis Helpline in New Zealand.

Plus fixes to how membership access is handled if you've cancelled but still have time left.

### 1.4.1 — 2026-08-21

More room to talk

Your first 15 messages are now free, up from 5. Enough to have a real conversation and find out what Nagi is actually like before deciding whether it's for you.

A way in

Nagi now says hello first rather than leaving you with an empty box, and offers a few openers if you're not sure where to begin. "I don't know where to start" is one of them, because that is usually the honest answer.

Nothing gets lost

If a conversation is ever paused to show you support options, your messages now stay exactly where they were. Nagi picks up where you left off, and you can carry on whenever you want to.

Support, whenever you want it

The support options are no longer only shown when the app decides to show them. They now sit in Settings, so they are there if you want them — for yourself, or for someone you are worried about.

Nagi can speak

Nagi can read replies aloud. If you are new to the app this is on from the start; if you have been here a while it stays exactly as you had it, and you can switch it on from the speaker at the top or in Settings. Either way, one tap mutes it, and Nagi tells you the first time it speaks — so it is never a surprise in a room with someone else in it.

Smaller things

- Prices now show the currency clearly
- You can leave the membership screen without signing up
- Fixed replies that occasionally didn't arrive

### 1.3.1 — 2026-08-16

A small housekeeping update. Our App Store age rating is now 18+, which matches the age check that has always been in the app and the wording in our privacy policy. Nothing inside Nagi has changed.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-08-06

No release notes.
