### 3/5 — Lot of improvement needed on timing

*2025-03-09*

App is good. But beats are not proper. As an example, Teenatal sarangi for chandrakauns.. as the octave is about to end the speed of lehra lags behind beats.
Observed this for other taal as well.
Otherwise app is really good.

### 3/5 — Request to add more raaga in sitar as Nagma

*2024-11-06*

Can you add raag Charukeshi under sitar Nagma. I would be very grateful

### 4/5 — Stops

*2024-05-08*

The application stops several times.

### 3/5 — Nice sounds

*2023-06-17*

Like this app for the quality of the sampled instrument sounds but timing is pretty off on many of the nagma’s making it very difficult to use for practicing tabla.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Useful app gone the wrong way!

*2026-05-27*

This keeps repeatedly asking for rating even after a rating and review was given. It’s just an annoying bug. Please fix.

This is a great lehera app and has been my Riyaz companion for many years.
But after the recent updates it is sad to see this app take the subscription model for accessing the different leheras instead of the old one time payment model.
The whole world is now experiencing “subscription fatigue” and I hope the developers revert back to the one time payment model.

**Developer response:** Thank you for supporting the app and making it part of your Riyaz for so many years. We completely understand the concern around subscriptions and the feedback is fair. The shift was made to help sustain ongoing development, new recordings, improvements, and long-term support for the app. We truly appreciate longtime users like you and are continuing to listen closely to this feedback as we evolve the app.

### 1/5 — Very difficult to figure out how to use it

*2026-02-25*

I got the trial version. But it’s so limited that I can’t decide if it’s going to be good for me. It plays only raag chandrakuns on a sarangi that too without a tabla.

**Developer response:** Thanks for trying the app and for the candid feedback. You’re right—the current trial is pretty limited, and it doesn’t do a great job of showing what the app can actually do.

A redesign is about to be released that makes the experience much clearer and gives a better sense of the full range of raags, instruments, and tabla support. The goal is to let you evaluate it properly before committing.

If you’re open to it, I’d recommend checking back once that update is live—I think it’ll address exactly what you ran into here.

### 1/5 — It’s a subscription

*2026-01-10*

This app is a subscription for the sake of being a subscription. There is no reason that this app should have a subscription. One time fee should be the only payment option for the “pro” app. Ridiculous!

**Developer response:** Thanks for the honest feedback. We get the frustration. We chose a subscription because NagmaLive isn’t a static “pro” app — it funds ongoing recording sessions, new lehras, artist collaborations, and continuous improvements so the library keeps growing instead of going stale. That said, pricing and value perception matter, and we’re actively listening. If you’re open to sharing more specifics, email us at support@nagmalive.com — real feedback directly influences how we evolve the app.

### 1/5 — Bad app

*2024-08-04*

Not at all accurate

### 1/5 — Worst lehra I have ever seen

*2022-06-22*

No updates till now., No body replies the email. Not in proper beat(Laya). Not more options for instruments. Even Taal Pancham Swari's nagma also not available..Wested my money for this nagma.Tried to apply for refund but it was too late.

### 1/5 — Can’t restore purchases and no response from their support

*2022-02-24*

I bought Nagma Live today. I am unable to use it because it keeps displaying the message “ restore purchases”. I have sent two messages to support department. No response. I am unable to use this app and have no idea how to get help.

### 1/5 — Lehra is off

*2021-12-16*

During riyaaz I’m not sure if people test out the bpm with parans, tihaes, and etc; Timing is way off, and it seems to be the problem with most of these apps in a nutshell. Very sad because it has a good sound too

### 1/5 — Glitch when changing tempo

*2019-01-29*

I am finding that there is a break in the nagma at certain points as I increase tempo, for example from or 104-105 and 179-180bpm. Does not allow fluid increase while practicing. Please fix this as I already paid for the Kathak package. And no response to my email...

### 1/5 — Not free

*2018-04-21*

Looks like it’s free. You get 1 instrument and have to pay 20$ for everything else.

### 3/5 — Like it

*2025-09-25*

It okay but I mean if you are not a professional then some of the settings are hard to understand

*2024-03-12*

Certainly enjoyed it. Now I am seeking the applied value of applying in the practice.
Thanks. Great work.

### 5/5 — Love this app for kathak practice!

*2024-02-10*

This is hands-down, my favorite app on the market. The beautiful playing by the musicians who recorded these nagmas keep me inspired throughout a practice and the variety of instruments, tals, and rags ensures there’s always something to match my mood. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Alaknanda

*2024-02-10*

I have already paid for Nagma live last year itself.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2023-11-13*

### 5/5 — Great app missing some Important tala

*2023-01-22*

Beautifully designed app but missing some basic tala as dadara and kaherva. Still five star all.
