### 1/5 — Cannot connect

*2026-02-15*

The app is unable to connect to our nagios servers.

**Developer response:** What version of Nagios are you using? The application was developed to work with Nagios Core. The current version is 4.5.11. Make sure the path setting matches your installation.

### 5/5 — Every Feature You Need, and Truly Free

*2026-01-25*

This app and the UI are very well thought-out and executed. I can’t think of a feature that’s missing, it fills a major gap left by other bloated, half-cocked, subscription-based apps. Well done! If Nagios is your monitoring agent and you are an iOS user, I couldn’t recommended this app more.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0.2 — 2026-08-19

What's New in 2.0.2

  - Fixed: commands failing on Nagios Core 4.5.3 and newer. Acknowledgements, downtimes, rechecks, and notification changes were rejected by recent Nagios versions due to their new CSRF security protection. NagMon now
completes the security handshake automatically — no server configuration changes needed. Older Nagios versions are unaffected.
  - New: Remove Acknowledgement. Acknowledged hosts and services now offer a one-tap action to clear the acknowledgement, with a confirmation once the command is accepted.
  - Clearer error messages. When a command fails, NagMon now shows the actual reason reported by your Nagios server instead of a generic connection message.
  - Better on Mac. When running NagMon on a Mac, server entries in Settings can now be opened for editing with a click and managed via right-click — no swipe gesture needed. Deleting a server now asks for confirmation on
  all devices.

### 2.0.1 — 2026-07-14

NagMon 2.0 — a complete redesign and multi-server monitoring

 • Monitor multiple Nagios servers at once — dashboard, hosts, services, and alerts combine into one view

 • NagMon now speaks French and Spanish — choose a language in Settings
 • Host icons from your Nagios server appear throughout the app
 • Hosts organized by host groups, with new filters and sort options
 • Quick Actions on every host and service: acknowledge, recheck, schedule downtime, toggle notifications
 • Open action and notes URLs defined on your hosts and services
 • Redesigned onboarding — explore instantly with the built-in Demo Server, or test your own connection before saving
 • Stronger security: passwords stored in Keychain, per-server certificate controls
 • Faster refreshes with fewer network calls, plus many fixes throughout
