It’s kept me from purchasing duplicates. I now know exactly what nail dip I have and won't be repeat ordering!! My only reason this doesn't have a five star is that it would be great to add other shade categories; ie white, holiday, etc. ### 4/5 — Love but could use some updates *2020-11-23, version 2.2* I am obsessed with this app for keeping track of all my dip colors and having swatches all in one place. I like to organize mine by number and there is no way to edit or move around the colors to keep them in order. So I have all my colors added and if I buy a new color it goes to the end of the list :( wish there was a way to edit / move things around and delete some unused color names. ### 4/5 — Awesome *2019-05-10, version 2.2* This app is perfect - exactly what I was looking for. The only thing that would make it better is a social component - it would be nice to be able to share your book and see other people’s books for colour inspiration. Also, it would be good if you could sign in and load your data to multiple devices. I can add shades, makers, collection names, a picture and add a description! Then I can sort by any of those to easily find polishes in my collection. What would make it a 5 star app would be the ability to output the list into a csv, spreadsheet, or database app for printing and for adding price and notes on whether the polish is used (either for a swatch or a mani). I ask this so I can what they call “destash” some of my polishes. Destashing is a term used by polish hoarders like me to describe selling off polishes in our collections... A couple of other requests would be the ability to edit shade, maker, or collection names when you’ve made a mistake... I don’t like how the view is a carousel. I would love for the option to be able to create groups and folders. It would also be great if the pictures could display more like that of a phone camera roll, one after another in a row 4 across and so on down (like an iPhone camera roll). It would help too to be able to drag and drop the colors around in order to sort them visually. Overall it’s a good start for a basic picture locket for your polishes, but very simplistic. ### 4/5 — 👍❤awesome!! *2017-12-16, version 2.1* ❤ this app. I actually use it to take pics of my manis while holding the bottle because its better for me to see the color, so the multiple pic thing isn't really an issue for me. The pic resolution could def be better and you really need to update the shade categories to make them customizable, but if not for that I would have given this a 5. Awesome for those of us obsessed with💅 & us girls who have tons of subscriptions UPDATE!!!! It’s been years and I STILL love this app.. BUT, there’s a HUGE issue with not being able to upload new pics from my iPhone library. I also wish there was a way to link an account or something so I don’t have to start over if I get a new phone. I’m always out buying or ordering nail polishes and because I own so many I tend to double sometimes triple buy the same polish. This app will definitely help me in that aspect as we as tech freaks will never leave home without our smartphones so VIOLA! No more double purchasing! Please fix it! ### 3/5 — Only a few Suggestions... *2017-04-01, version 2.1* 1-Make app database to import/export and/or customer can upload/stream across all devices. 2-Add fields to provide more information such as: cost, purchase location, coupons that are store or brand specific. 3-Being able to save app data to iCloud or other cloud service. You could provide cloud storage with a "paid" version of the app. When I upgrade my phone the way the app is now, I would have to fill in all of the information for each item & upload the corresponding photo. 4-Make this app work on all previous versions of iPad 1, as of right now you only have this app compatible with iPhone. I might as well use my own spreadsheet. There’s a lot of work involved from me listing names, brands and colours of polishes. It would be better if the app had its own search function with the facility to access an existing database of polishes and brands. I can only use the camera but cannot go to the library as it will freeze. When I hit 800 it stopped loading pictures, and got worse and worse. This app was never designed nor tested for LARGE COLLECTIONS! The way it is written is too memory intensive. I almost lost my entire collection and the developer offered NO help. They also have no improvements planned for the near future. If you think there is even a remote possibility of your collection getting above 500, switch apps NOW! An option to download so it doesn't need internet would be helpful. Unintentionally. So I was pretty stoked when I found a nail polish inventory app. However, I'm seriously disappointed to learn that to build a list you must manually enter each name, then choose the brand, etc. Let me know when you have a barcode scanner. I spent several hours adding in all my polishes, and finding cute mani pics online to add in the app. So not only do I see the polish I have, but how it looks applied. I’m certainly not complaining about it, but here are some suggestions I’d like to see: 1. I wish there was an easy way to back up the information. Like linking it to an online account (users could interact!) secured with and username and password. Or, make it so that it could be backed up to the cloud. But I realized after that I can add other key words to the comments section, and the key words will appear in the search results. Yes, you do have to input the info yourself, but unless you have way too many bottles it won't take very long, even taking pics as you go. I get what others are saying about a barcode scanner, but scanning a tiny barcode on a small round bottle can't possibly work that well. Get over it and type them in.
