## What is Nails Exam?

Pass the California nail technician exam — first try.

California rewrote this exam on April 1, 2026. Safety and Infection Control went from 38% to
50% of the paper, and Skin Care is an entirely new category. Material written before then
drills the wrong half of the test. Every question and lesson in this app is weighted to the
new outline.

The selections are blue font on top of a dark gray background which makes it difficult to read after a long time of reading. This requires a lot of reading and focusing on the answer selections because some words are only slightly different and the font color choice can cause you to read it wrong. Please change them for more effective reading for us all.
