Most of us have a few people we'd drop anything for, and who'd do the same for us. Still, the days fill up, and it's hard to know when someone's free to talk. Nairuka handles the timing, so you can be there for each other. LIGHT THE LAMP When you're up for company, light the lamp for an hour, three hours, or the rest of the day. The people you choose can see you're around, and until when. Add a short note if you like. The lamp turns off on its own, so it never says you're free when you aren't. WAVE A wave says you're thinking of someone. It carries no message, and nobody owes a reply. Sometimes knowing someone's there is enough. TALK THE WAY YOU ALREADY DO When someone's around, reach them however you usually do. Connect a person to one of your contacts, and Message, Call and FaceTime open straight to them. Your conversations stay where they already are. FOR THE FEW PEOPLE WHO MATTER MOST Invite the people you're closest to with a private code. Choose who sees your lamp each time, and save groups for the people you pick most often. Use the same account on your iPhone and iPad, with a short code to add a device. Add the widget to see who's around from your Home Screen. NOTHING IN BETWEEN No feed, no ads, no history, no read receipts, and nothing learning from what you do. If your lamp is off, that's all anyone sees. The names you give people are visible only to you, and contact photos stay on your iPhone or iPad. Nobody is told you looked. Nairuka is free, with everything included. If you'd like to help keep the lights on, you can leave a tip in the app. ## Key features - Light a virtual lamp to show availability - Send a 'wave' to signal you're thinking of someone - Direct integration with existing messaging and calling apps - Private invites with unique codes - Home screen widget for quick status checks - No feed, ads, or read receipts ## Pricing and in-app purchases Base price: Free. **One-time purchases** | Purchase | Price | Type | | --- | --- | --- | | A small tip | $4.99 | one-time | | A medium tip | $9.99 | one-time | | A large tip | $19.99 | one-time | ## Is Nairuka safe? Waves now show when they were sent and clear once you've waved back. And if someone sends you a code, People shows where to enter it. ### 1.1.2 — 2026-10-21 Notifications now show the names you've given people more reliably, and a rename on one of your devices reaches the others the next time you open Nairuka. ### 1.1.1 — 2026-10-18 The name you type when inviting someone now follows your account to all your devices, so they show up under that name wherever you open Nairuka. The app icon badge now counts only waves you haven't seen. Easier tapping, and better support for large text and VoiceOver. ### 1.1 — 2026-10-17 Nairuka now runs on iPad. Use one account on more than one device: open Account, tap Add a device, and enter the code on the new one. The app icon now shows how many waves and lamps you haven't looked at yet. ### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-14 Opening Nairuka is quicker. Your people appear right away, even on a slow connection, and the app only says you're offline when you really are. The People list is tidier, so more of your people fit on one screen. When you make an invite, the app asks for your own name and shows how it will look to the person you send it to. Your own "You waved" now clears after an hour. The person you waved at still sees it for the day. Better layouts at the largest text sizes. ## Apps similar to Nairuka | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [Life Hack: Planner & Goals](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/life-hack-planner-and-goals/id6778059112) | — | Free | Lifestyle | | [Church of Conscious Harmony](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/church-of-conscious-harmony/id6761935700) | — | Free | Lifestyle | | [My 5D Path: Energy Forecast](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/my-5d-path-energy-forecast/id6817119382) | 5.0 (2) | Free | Lifestyle | | [FastTrack: Fasting & Health](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/fasttrack-fasting-and-health/id6779229999) | — | Free | Lifestyle | | [Tranota: Daily Devotional](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/tranota-daily-devotional/id6787499412) | 5.0 (3) | Free | Lifestyle | | [DailyQuest: Habit RPG Game](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/dailyquest-habit-rpg-game/id6779602262) | — | Free | Lifestyle | ## Related topics [la présence cercle familial](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/la-présence-cercle-familial) --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
