Life's questions are old. So are the answers. Nalanda gathers timeless spiritual texts into one quiet place on your iPhone, complete and unabridged, and helps you find the words that speak to what you are living through right now. ASK THE GURU Bring any question, in your own words: grief, purpose, fear, love, duty, doubt. The Guru searches the texts and returns the passages that speak to it, each with its source, so you can open it, read it in context, and keep it. It never invents scripture. Every answer is the texts themselves. READ WITHOUT HURRY Whole books, not quotes or excerpts. Move through the Bhagavad Gita verse by verse, with the original Sanskrit, transliteration, word-by-word meanings and translation, or settle into the great epics and teachings chapter by chapter. FIND ANY LINE Search every book at once. Results open on the exact passage, with your words highlighted. MAKE IT YOURS Highlight a line and turn it into a note. Gather passages into reading lists. Keep them private, or share them on your profile for others to discover. A LIBRARY THAT GROWS WITH YOU Your Home fills with themes and passages drawn from what you actually read, and deepens over time. Personalization can be turned off at any time. A Home Screen widget brings you a theme to sit with, and an optional evening reminder calls you back to your reading. FREE TO READ Reading, search, notes and reading lists are free. Your first three Guru questions are free; unlimited Guru questions and personalized Themes come with a subscription. A NOTE ON THE GURU The Guru is software, not a teacher or an adviser, and it can be wrong. It is a doorway into the texts, never a substitute for them. YOUR PRIVACY No ads. We never sell your information, and we never use what you write to train machine learning models. Your notes and lists stay private unless you choose to share them.
