However the most recent update to the English translation is very poor and seems like AI was used. For example, the opening used to say “Glory be to you, Oh Allah and all praise is due unto You! And blessed is your name and high is your majesty and none is worthy of worship but you.” Now it says, “Perfect you are, Oh Allah, and yours is praise! Blessed is your name and high is your majesty, and high is your majesty, and none is worthy of worship but you.” I don’t speak Arabic but I believe this can’t be a correct translation to repeat the same thing in this way when the Arabic words are different. I wish they would bring back the old translation for English. This is just one example of an error but overall the English translation makes much less sense now to a native speaker. I don’t want to rate too low because due to this app I was able to memorize the prayer in English before this change but I didn’t memorize all the sunnah prayers yet and many of the recitations from the Quran changed and make much less sense now. Including Al-Fatiha which used to say “Master of the day of judgment” instead “day of reckoning” and a few other changes. These are just a few standout examples but more changes were made and they’re NOT improvements. The only issue I have is from time to time when I check the prayer times, there is no highlighted prayer times even after refreshing and closing the app completely by swiping it closed.
