Just the right amount of hard and interesting. I love that we get to play as a cat and the platform choice is great. The art is stunning and the plot Is interesting with a nice twist. This game is SO good. The story, the design, the ADORABLE characters… It’s perfect! The backgrounds are amazing, the gameplay is really hard to be honest (later on) but really fun. The characters are hilarious and it is legitimately fun to see them in a level and have them talk to you. The bosses are my sleep paralysis demons and the final boss is really difficult. The ending, OH MY GOD. The ending delivers a freaking PUNCH. It hands you the perfect mix of emotions on a silver platter and then plays Niccolò Paganini’s ‘Caprices’ on a golden violin for you. Please download this game and give it a shot if you know what’s good for you. ### 5/5 — Amazing game *2021-09-30, version 1.7.0* This game is incredible. The music, the boss battles, the story, it’s just amazing. This game is developed so well, there are so many small details that make is breathtaking, just listing a portion of them would have you sitting here for a long time! It has beautiful backgrounds, a sweet ending and glorious music. The music is incredible and almost feels like something from Minecraft of undertale. This game is made on a level of care that it could easily be worth 5$. It has few ads and they will never ruin your play through. And the boss battles, during the final one it really just took away my breath. Second time I had to dip out and uninstall. It’s a shame too because it has a charming aesthetic, ambient music and most importantly... cats! A rating (currently +4 🤷‍♂️ ) change from the App Store is necessary... thank you. ### 1/5 — Name the cat please *2020-09-23* Now!!!!!!!!!!!! ### 2/5 — Would not recommend *2021-05-26* This game is okay at the start. But soon it became repetitive, and the difficulty of the levels did not correspond with the level number. The first boss is incredibly easy, yet the second boss is incredibly hard. This does make sense but a boss level is meant to be beaten in a couple of try’s, max 10 or 15. This boss level is stupid, and the unpredictability of the projectiles and the time for the scorpions to turn is unbelievable, and the homing bugs and projectiles are perfectly timed to get on the players nerves. There is also no reward for completing a level, just a new level of equally unpredictable difficulty, repetitive puzzles and junky gameplay. When you die in a level the level also resets, so if you completed half of a puzzle then died, you have to complete it all over again. This is a complete oversight. 2/5, would not recommend ### 3/5 — Controls are infuriating late game *2021-05-21, version 1.6.0* In the early game, they’re fine. But in the later levels of the game, it’s extremely easy to press one instead of the other, especially jump instead of interact. It’s very irritating as I’d like to listen to the music this game surely has. ### 4/5 — The Terms of Turmoil *2020-11-24, version 1.6.0* Okay, that final boss level made it all worth the countless death and frustration. Just the music alone made it fun to play the bullet $hell. There are definitely places where the difficulty ramped up but not because of the segment. The lack of split second momentum control is why due to the way controls are implemented. But trial and tribulation at least make it doable to overcome. Overall, it’s not perfect. But it doesn’t have to be. And to anyone stuck on 3-13 at the bridge, here’s some helpful advice on how to pass it. 1. Cross to the other side in time 2. Grab the free cat food above 3. Disregard the puzzle Enjoy the rest of the game with the flying meatball and his weird snowball obsession. Still no clue what that “Mini-Level update” did. ### 4/5 — inventive platformer with portal mechanics *2020-10-08, version 1.5.1* overall lovely game! the first world is very fun. however, the save mechanics are funky, and do not always save your progress or bonus rewards once earned, sometimes reverting to earlier game states. there could be more save points in later levels, to keep it from getting redundant just to pass a long, challenging level. the physics of the jump is disturbing, as the arc of the jump continues too far once you’ve released the L/R controls. ### 4/5 — OMG *2020-10-04, version 1.5.1* Okay. I wasn’t super invested in the story, but the platforming is real fun. I just wish there was more! Also, I suggest buying the ad removal, as it not only supports the developers but just makes the game so much less frustrating (as ads sometimes play when you die, and I promise you’ll die a lot.)
