The CRM team of this company should be fired. The app sends out multiple notifications a day thst makes zero sense. For some reason the app sends notifications about airports a lot. It’s a utility app. We use because we have to. Just because you send a notification doesn’t mean I will book a ride, if I don’t want to go out. Idiots.

I wish I could rate this higher. It's a great service. I love it and use it every day! Prices are significantly lower than the competition, and I feel they are genuinely customer friendly without price gouging, surge pricing or cancellations that are rampant in other apps. 

HOWEVER!

The big caveat is their glitchy app. While it has improved in some aspects in recent updates (location tracking is now better), the app has an infuriating tendency to match you with a driver BUT THEN NOT SHOW IT! This creates a frustrating experience each time where I'm left waiting and frustrated that I've not found the ride. Then I end up picking up a ride on another platform, and I get a call from a driver who says he's been waiting for me for some time, but which I cannot see on the app. I then have to restart the app to be able to cancel the ride, leaving both me and the driver extremely frustrated.

I was informed by the app support after a confusing ride that the fare doesn’t update in Namma Yatri if the actual route changes versus the original proposed route. This seems to be a standard feature on all other ride apps, leading to confusion here. The driver asked me for a higher fare than shown on the app, which I would have been happy to pay - as long as it showed up on the app. Else I have to rely on the word of the driver, which might not be the most reliable number in some cases. This app is my go-to app for ride booking due to ease of booking and overall ease, but this seems to be a major missing feature that is problematic for customers.

I used to love this and preferred this over Ola coz Ola had terrible support and a million bugs. But recently even this has given me plenty of trouble. I book a ride and when I don’t get it I cancel the search. But after 10-15 mins it somehow automatically books rides and I get call from the ride driver and I have to cut the call and cancel it manually. This has happened quite a few times and it’s unfair for the driver who knows how long they might have travelled

I was in Chennai and this is the first time I’m using this app, I have experienced these issues: 
1. The map is incorrect as it is not showing my current location not even for 20-30m. It was more than that.
2. I tried booking a ride from A to B, and since the map was incorrect, I noticed the first auto driver crossing me but he neither called nor waited in the location. He just cancelled and left.
2. I booked the second auto, this time I went and stood where the location was showing during my first ride, this time again the driver crossed, neither called nor waited, I had cancelled ( I suspect the auto number was mismatch, as I was looking for the autos crossing me with the number given in the app but as the auto crossed, it was shorn in the map but the number was not matching)
3. I booked the third auto, this time I called him and informed my exact location but he said he will come according to location, he had not even came close to the pavement but just crossed me again and took a big circle to the place where I’m standing and only after 9 -10 mins, he came and called. If this is a regular issue, then you’ll not sustain. Finally he dropped me, the auto numbers were a mismatch btw, I had to pay additional ₹10 for the waiting too.
