### 4/5 — Nanit

*2026-08-22, version 3.85.1*

We love our nanit! I will say we had to purchase two the first one keep turning off and not turning back on, even with a replacement camera we could not get it to work. Turns on the base (we had the one the mounted on the wall) was broken. I ended up buying a whole new base/camera before figuring that out. The smart baby monitor is not worth the money- maybe wait for them to update the design a couple times. The concept is great but the battery doesn’t even last a night unless it’s plugged in to charge.

### 4/5 — Great when it works

*2026-08-22, version 3.85.1*

Great when it works. Has issues at times

### 3/5 — Love it but can add new features

*2026-08-22, version 3.85.1*

I love nanit camera. But it keeps detecting mobile as our baby and will say baby is awake. Also it would be nice of the care activity can be added up, how much bottle, how many diapers, how many hrs of nap for each days on the top.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2026-08-18, version 3.85.1*

I love all things Nanit, the monitor, sleep sound machine and app. The sleep tracker is great and spot on. It notifies me that a nap is coming up and sure enough 5 minutes later baby is sleepy.

My only real complaint is that I wish it had a feature to track pumping times and output. I currently have to use another app to track that and have to bounce back and forth. It would be nice if it had everything consolidated like the Huckleberry app.

Other than that I love it. Just wish I didn’t have to have a second app for pumping.

### 5/5 — Amazing product

*2026-08-18, version 3.85.1*

Such a piece of mind when baby is in the other room. Getting to see her breaths when we first started sleeping separately provided lots of comfort in the first few weeks. It’s also amazing for travel!

### 4/5 — Great system

*2026-08-18, version 3.85.1*

Great monitoring system for baby

### 5/5 — Gma Review

*2026-08-18, version 3.85.1*

Helpful sharing info and easy to use!

### 2/5 — Not worth the money

*2026-08-18, version 3.85.1*

Great concept terrible execution.
App is so slow. Calculating the night takes hours. Picks up false wake ups so hard to get an accurate stretch of time the baby slept

### 5/5 — Best for tracking newborn activity

*2026-08-18, version 3.85.1*

Love this software. Best for tracking baby activities and sleep.

### 4/5 — Great mobile app

*2026-08-18, version 3.85.1*

Few issues with connectivity but overall awesome!

### 2/5 — Inconsistent Sleep Score

*2026-08-17, version 3.85.1*

There are better options out there that don’t require a subscription.

The sleep score is widely inaccurate, especially after the free trial. Constantly says we do visits and pick our child up out of the crib multiple times a night, which we don’t. I’d say I need to report errors 4-5 sleep nights a week.

If I were to do it all over again, I’d get something more basic that doesn’t require a subscription. It’s also a pain if you have a babysitter as you need a high cost subscription plan to add people to the Nanit account to use the app (which we refuse to do - bought a $50 camera/monitor for grandparents/sitters to use if we have a date night).

Save your money and the annual fee - get something more basic.

### 5/5 — Great for monitoring our baby!

*2026-08-17, version 3.85.1*

Very convenient, easy to use, and gives us piece of mind!

### 3/5 — New bug

*2026-08-16, version 3.85.1*

Not sure why, but the recent update will not connect to my camera unless I delete and re-download the app once per day…

### 5/5 — Tech that’s just a part of standard life now

*2026-08-16, version 3.85.1*

We use Nanit for our baby and our toddler. It’s become an important tool we use daily and nightly and have done so for over 3 years now! We rarely, if ever, have issues with it. We love being able to check on our kids if one of us is out for the night. It’s a fantastic tool!

### 2/5 — Keep having to delete and redownload app

*2026-08-15, version 3.85.1*

For some reason, I can’t access the camera anymore while using the app. This started happening a few days ago. Every time I try to use the app, the video won’t load. However when I delete the app and then log in, I’m able to access it. I’ve deleted the app and downloaded it again more than 5 times now. It’s very frustrating. I think it has to do with local signals? Idk but I tried to toggle that setting on and off and logging in and out and nothing other than deleting the app has worked. As a mother, you know how precious time is when your kid is sleeping. Having to deal with this every time is not great.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No clear path forward without subscription

*2026-08-23, version 3.85.1*

After setup, it says “One last step” and forces you to “Activate Camera” and enter subscription which it claims isn’t required. If it’s not required, DONT FORCE SOMEONE TO START A SUBSCRIPTION!!! absolutely hate apps that do this.

### 1/5 — Insulting

*2026-08-23, version 3.85.1*

One star out of principal. App emails me to upsell functionality. Insulting for a $500 product

### 1/5 — Do not buy Nanit!

*2026-08-18, version 3.85.1*

This company is a complete scam. You buy a $300 camera and then they force you to pay $120 a year to use the features of the camera you just purchase. It’s Absoulete garbage. Do yourself a favor and buy any other brand. You will get the same quality camera with a ton more features at a fraction of the cost.

### 1/5 — Bug??

*2026-08-15, version 3.85.1*

Over the past couple of days I have struggled to get a live video feed but it will record video in the history.

### 1/5 — New update is TERRIBLE

*2026-08-15, version 3.85.1*

Live feed won’t stream on MacAir, have to uninstall and reinstall app on iPhones if I close out the app for me to live stream Nanit cam. NO LOGOUT OPTION on settings? PLEASE FIX!

### 1/5 — Live Stream Won’t Work

*2026-08-15, version 3.85.1*

I have been a super user of nanit for over 2 years. It was great until the most recent update, now the live stream function doesn’t work so I am watching my baby on a $50 monitor we bought for vacation instead of the monitor I spent hundreds on + hundreds more in subscription fees. Nanit fix your problem asap!!!

### 1/5 — Recent update broke the app

*2026-08-15, version 3.85.1*

Great job, guys.

### 1/5 — Terrible new update

*2026-08-14, version 3.85.1*

The new update is awful! I can’t even see my child on the screen.
We also bought the Nanit home and the battery just drains immediately! Do not buy, save your money.

### 1/5 — Video no longer works after update

*2026-08-14, version 3.85.1*

The latest update completely breaks the video streaming functionality. I pay for the premium subscription and now cannot use the app at all!

### 1/5 — Live Video broken

*2026-08-14, version 3.85.1*

Do not update the app. The live video is broken and you cannot monitor your children on the new version, as well as the patch. It has been. A few days and still no fix which is making the nanit rather useless

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best Baby Monitor!

*2026-08-23, version 3.85.1*

We absolutely love our nanit baby monitor. We have the screen with it and haven’t had any issues. I love that being able to use my phone or the monitor. We didn’t want to get a baby monitor with Wi-Fi but saw how secure the nanit is and haven’t had any problems. I recommend this monitor to any expecting Parents looking for one.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2026-08-22, version 3.85.1*

First time parent here, the camera is great, has a lot of cool features, and notifies very quickly if it detects motion, crying, etc. Having the camera gives a peace of mind when our baby is sleeping.

### 5/5 — Must Have

*2026-08-21, version 3.85.1*

I was skeptical at first about the monthly cost but it was 100% worth it. We are able to log what he eats/uses restroom and it helps us keep track on when to feed him. The quality of the camera is fantastic too! Do yourself a favor and get Nanit.

### 5/5 — From grandma

*2026-08-21, version 3.85.1*

My daughter set me up on Nanit si I can see baby. I don’t live by them and I miss her so much. This way I can peek in before I go to bed and in the middle of the night anytime. I really love it oh BTW so does my daughter.

### 5/5 — My Nanit

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-08-19, version 3.85.1*

I absolutely love this product. I have the breathing band as well and plan on getting the sleep sack. There is no lag, notifications are in real time. Couldn’t ask for a better product. The night light and sounds are also super convenient.
