## What is Napa LogBook?

The Logbook mobile app is an add-on to the NAPA Logbook system onboard the vessel. It  can be used only if the Logbook system onboard is configured properly to work with the mobile app. The main features are:

•	Read logbook entries and captain's orders.
•	Create and edit logbook entries.
•	Work in offline mode when network connection is unavailable.

### 2.1 — 2026-08-26

- Night Order Notifications: You’ll now receive a notification when night orders older than 3 days are hidden, clarifying order availability.
- Username Display: Fixed sidebar and approved entry username rendering across both Online and Offline modes.
- Offline Security Fix: Resolved an issue where data from a previously logged-in user could appear in Offline mode.
- Attachment Limits: Prevented duplicate attachments from being uploaded up to the 10 MB threshold.
- Performance: General under-the-hood fixes to ensure a smoother, more reliable experience.

•	Solve one network issue when adding attachments.
•	Current day button added.
•	Improve the app icon to be adaptive.

- A QR code needs to be scanned before first connection to a 2021.2.0 or higher version of Log Server;
- Updated entry templates are received from the server automatically;
