I ordered a new digital subscription today. Your employee was very helpful and took my order and credit card. However I could not get the digital paper. I called back to get help and got a message to call during regular business hours. This is so annoying. With only two people in our household, and much traveling, this is so inconvenient. I followed instructions for the cancellation and nowhere to be found in purchases thru the APP or Apple. I paid for a new subscription too! Would allow me to open “For Subscribers Only” articles. There’s another $149 dollars gone! Terrible on every level. Don’t use this APP! ### 1/5 — Articles behind a paywall *2025-12-31, version 8.6.0* I got a discount to subscribe for my first year, but I haven’t resubscribed as the current rates are way too expensive for a biased small town paper. I did not appreciate the biased slant in the articles the past year on political or national events. I am only interested in local happenings, as I get my main news elsewhere. I’m frustrated that this app has almost all the articles behind a paywall. There are plenty of papers that rely on ad revenue from non-subscribers. And just so you know, if I see your headline pop up on my phone, I can find that news through the local TV network websites instead. It’s not like you guys are the only journalists in town. Your app is certainly convenient, but not worth the price to subscribe. ### 1/5 — On-line version no longer works. *2025-06-11, version 8.1.0* It no longer lets me see a complete version of the actual paper, which it did up to four days ago.
