Not only do I use it as a mom with my toddler when we need backup care, date night, a mother’s helper etc but I also use it with my business. The sitters are fantastic and the owners/creators are helpful, proactive and truly care about the families and children they service! Love it. They strategically place buttons to opt in in places you can easily accidentally click This is such a shockingly underhanded tactic I can’t imagine how devious the rest of their business is run ### 1/5 — Failure! No notification on the app *2019-08-15* I can't trust this app. I checked the app over the weekend and there were no confirmation of the gig. I opened the app on Monday and it wasn't working because it needed to be updated. I updated the app later that day. No notification in the app that the gig I'd requested several days prior had been booked! I was up at 4am and there was nothing!!! Since there was no notification by 7am, I assumed that I was free. See texts after 10am asking where I was! The app rep took no responsibility and basically threw me under the bus with the client. After searching, I found an email in spam. But why would I be looking in email instead of the app? Apparently the app doesn't function when there is an update. It doesn't notify you that it needs an update, so you don't know until you open the app. Then, it fails to let you know that you were booked while the app was down. Then the app team blames the user. ### 4/5 — Nice work on own time but App needs improvement *2025-12-02* Notifications have stopped working on the app. Used to get notifications every time new gig was posted or accepted. Easy to miss things. Could be a messaging system in the app to communicate with families rather than text too. Families often don’t include wanting earlier or later times so cancel when you can’t go with their need for flexibility when never wrote that in gig details. Cancellation policy for families cancelling last minute or sitter illness is not right either. Don’t want to get kids sick so if suddenly get flu, shouldn’t be charged.
