## What is Nar?

Nar translates your bodily signs based on your hormonal life stage. Cycling, non-cycling, postpartum, perimenopause, menopause and after. At Nar, we believe women get dismissed when their health signs don't match others, so we are here to solve that problem. Whether you have a wearable or not.

Nar starts from women's data. Nar also keeps women's data private. We have no servers or any data collection. We only read the data or your log (on your phone like a note reader) and you only see the insights. No one else. / This is Nar's founder's ( who has worked in many cycle trackers) ode to women, who should own their own data and the right to not share it.

Nar is underwhelming, but scientific. You will read about your body like a book, but once you click on "why," you will see why this certain trend is happening with you.

Most apps compare you to a population average and call the difference a problem. Nar compares you to you, at this point in your cycle and at this stage of your life. A luteal temperature rise reads as the luteal phase, not as illness. A postpartum HRV of 25 reads as postpartum, not as alarm.

WHAT NAR READS

Apple Health, on any iPhone. Anything already flowing into it, including Apple Watch and Oura. No wearable at all? Logging is enough. Nar reads what you give it, and tells you what it can and cannot see.

WHAT NAR GIVES BACK

Two reads a day. A morning brief, and an evening read. Morning focuses on how today is looking and Night only shows what's really important to do tonight to have a healthier tomorrow.

Eight domains: Sleep, Energy, Mood, Body, Gut, Pain, Immunity, Heart. Read each one through your hormonal stage, because the same number means something different in a different body and in a different week.

THE SCIENCE

Three layers run on your phone.

Rules built from the clinical literature on women's physiology, calibrated against labeled research datasets.

A neural network trained on 71 million rows of women's health data, small enough to live entirely on your device.

Your own baselines, which sharpen every day you use it, until Nar knows your normal better than any average could.

PRIVACY

Everything stays on your device. There is no Nar server. We could not read your data if we wanted to, because it never reaches us.

If you sign in with Apple, only your onboarding profile travels through your own private iCloud. Never your readings.

BLOOM

Bloom is the reason behind the reading. Why this, why today, and what in your own data says so.

It adds multi-day patterns, a push when something shifts, and your last twenty four hours at a glance.

£4.99 a month or £39.99 a year. 30 days free for new subscribers, then auto-renews until canceled in iPhone Settings. Annual saves 33%.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 4.2.0 (249) — 2026-08-22

bug fixes for sleep ingestion, nap is counted and todays brief gives an overall picture of the day.

### 4.1.1 (237) — 2026-07-14

Nar now reads your body against the phase you are actually in.

-Phase-aware scoring

Until now, your signals were compared to a baseline that did not know where you were in your cycle. Temperature, heart rate variability, respiratory rate and resting heart rate all shift predictably across a cycle, and reading them flat meant reading them wrong.

Each of those four is now compared to what is normal for you at this point in your cycle rather than to your average. A luteal temperature rise now reads as the luteal phase, not as illness. Immunity is scored on phase-residualized temperature. Body carries a wider tolerance through the luteal phase, where a heavier, slower day is the expected thing rather than a warning.

The on-device model behind your cards was retrained on these phase-aware signals, so what the model says and what the card says now agree.

-A cortisol lens

Nar now infers your HPA-axis load: not the stress of any single day, but the slow load your body has been carrying across days. Where it is high, it informs what Gut, Immunity and Pain have to say, because that is where a long stress load surfaces first.

It is inferred from the signals you already give Nar. Nothing new is asked of you, and no number is put in front of you.

-Menopause staging
If you are in the transition, Nar can now propose where you are, following the STRAW+10 criteria used in the research literature.

Perimenopause hosts the twelve-month count. Menopause is the marker reached at the end of it, not the years leading up to it. Nar proposes a stage. It never diagnoses one, and you can always tell it that it is wrong.

-Corrections
Blood oxygen was being read at the wrong scale, and Apple Watch skin temperature was being read as an absolute rather than as a deviation from your own normal. Both are fixed. Both were quietly moving your scores.

A cycle now begins only when you log a bleed. Nar no longer assumes one has started.

Cards in different domains had begun to rhyme with each other, reaching for the same phrasing on the same morning. They no longer do.
The hormonal Why sheet now shows the evidence it was always meant to show.

Everything stays on your device.

### 4.0.8 (213) — 2026-06-30

A new way to see where you are.

Phase
A new tab that shows where your body is right now, your cycle, your recovery, or your transition, and how that stage reshapes every reading. See what's coming next, what the current phase means for sleep, mood, energy and more, and log your period right where it belongs.

Phase fits you. Whether you are cycling, postpartum, perimenopausal, menopausal, post-menopausal, or living with irregular cycles, it shows the view that matches your stage instead of forcing a calendar that doesn't.

Sharper readings
We refined how Nar reads Apple Watch data. Blood oxygen, wrist temperature, and heart rate variability are now interpreted on the correct scale, so your scores reflect your body more faithfully.

As always, everything stays on your device.

### 4.0.7 (205) — 2026-06-11

This release makes your daily reading sharper and more personal.

  • Clearer urgent cards. What needs you most now rises to the top, quietly ranked in burgundy numbers.
  • Deeper reasons. Each recommendation explains what it sees in your own data, and the one thing to do about it.
  • More for perimenopause. Stage aware guidance across energy, heart, sleep, gut and more.
  • A calmer Reads page. Your Reads and Weekly Patterns, easier to move through.
  • Gentler notifications. Morning suggestions vary day to day, and evening nudges arrive on your evening, not the clock's.
  • Connected devices, refreshed. Apple Health and Oura now shown as themselves.
Private as ever. Everything stays on your phone.

### 4.0.6 (185) — 2026-05-27

- a soul reading
- quizzes on how you manage things that happen to you and where you hold your stress
- a full read section
- bug fixing
