I appreciate it being ad free, and has a live update feature for baby’s dad to see what’s going on and vice versa! Only thing that docked it by 1 star is that the live app feature doesn’t stop for the other caregivers and their timer keeps going even if it was stopped. I NEVER write reviews, okay? But let me tell you- as a new dad with a new baby, this app is the one. The live activity feature is key because if my wife is in the other room and the kid starts a feed, goes to sleep, I am totally queued in. One hand full with baby and other hand free? Super simple to add a feed without having to click through a ton of menus and small text like Huckleberry. All the extra paid stuff Huck offers like "Sweet Spot Nap" blah blah blah, is behind a pay wall and isn't worth it. I’m using it to track timing of feeds and amount he’s eating (we’re bottle feeding). There’s no way I’d be able to keep that all in my head right now. Some of the features that make it stand out - you can feed from both breasts and it counts it as one feeding and tracks which side you fed from last. The sleep is recorded with a timer or entered manually as needed, and you can adjust the time and the timer keeps running despite your adjustment! The milestones are easy to track. You can easily customize the screen, moving things around and hiding things. It’s easy to switch between mom and baby. No annoying ads. Free. The one thing I would improve is still displaying the last side for breastfeeding even if the last feeding was a solids feed and not a breastfeed. If you are a new mom, please get this app! ### 2/5 — App Glitches *2026-08-28, version 2.7.3* Sometimes when I start the breastfeeding timer on the left it glitches and starts the right side or i’ll feed on the left and after I save it when I start the next feeding it’ll say my last side was the right even though it wasn’t. Also the timer that displayed at the top of the phone will go away and sometimes randomly come back up. Safe to say its been having issues that requires an update to fix. On a daily basis, the amount of times it doesn’t save entires is exhausting. It’ll show morning feeds, and then by the next feed, all the data is erased or didn’t save. ### 1/5 — Glitches every day *2026-08-10, version 2.7.3* my daughter is now eight months old and I've been using this app since she was a newborn. Since then, it has gone under some updates. Many months ago I would've told you this was a great app. But for at least three months, it has been glitching. I will stop the timer for a nap feed. Then I go to check later, and then it says that the timer never stopped when I did in fact stop it. I also share the app with my husband, and sometimes it will glitch with one of our phones. For example, if I'm feeding her, and then I stopped the timer, one hour later notification that still running. This has been a consistent issue for so long I have to switch apps. It's no longer reliable. I have updated the app whenever it’s available to, but it never fixes the problem. I always press save after I mark my baby awake, but my husband asks me why our baby is still asleep on the app when she is awake with us. But recently in the last couple weeks or month, there must've been some sort of update because it never remembers my information when I log it. If I track sleep, leave the app open and then I opened the app up again later it access though I don't have an active sleep session open which is super annoying. And when I use it with my Apple Watch, it's super glitchy now it's constantly saying there's no data and it will refresh it. Sometimes it'll show the data but most of the time it doesn't. I can update my review on these issues are fixed, but it makes the app pretty unusable now. Not sure if I want to use for my second child or not another app if they can't fix it ### 1/5 — Privacy not included *2025-11-11, version 2.3.1* For a while Nara has been connecting to adware and malware domains. I've contacted them to no avail. The general UX of the app is still quite good, barring it's become a battery drain and it's quite slow. Inspection of its network traffic reveals a lot of data being stolen from users, violating their Privacy Policy. Update based on their response: contacted Nara and was ignored. I run a Pihole at home and can see Nara connecting to over 15 malware and adware domains, even really creepy ones no malware list would allow. ### 1/5 — Won’t open *2025-11-03, version 2.3.0* Tried to download and wouldn’t open. Would only load white screen with ‘NaraBaby’ flashing. Both my partner and I can track at the same time which is perfect as we both forget back and fourth and can log for each other too! Tracking the firsts with a picture has been adorable and totally worth it if you haven’t started that yet. There are tons of features we still haven’t used but plan to but for a newborn, the feeding, amounts, times, sleeps, medications, and firsts have made being a new parent that much easier! This app has defureduced some stress on the 3 of us!
