## What is Narcade?

Practice and hone your skills in simulations. Each new round presents a completely fresh challenge (thanks to generative AI), enabling you to generalize your abilities and maintain your sharpness. This is real negotiation against an AI, not just another negotiation coach or website wrapper, although there's concise documentation with professional input.

Narcade aims to deepen your understanding of negotiation. We all negotiate differently and this app lets you practice your own skills and build experience. It also learns about your style and helps you assess whether you're dealing with a competitive or cooperative bargainer.

Narcade is designed to:

- create controlled scenarios to focus on specific skills
- provide personalized feedback on your negotiating style
- train you to identify the styles of others
- allow you to practice without real or monetary consequences

Drawing on research into behavioral economics, you’ll decide how to divide a windfall with another ‘player’ – in this case, an AI counterpart. Through dialogue, you’ll learn to recognize whether your opponent is likely to agree to a good deal or if you’ll have to settle for a fair share (or even less!) to reach an agreement.

The app features progressive levels unlocked by correctly evaluating the styles of the AI and your own. These styles are also assessed at the end of each successful round. So play nicely: if you walk away every time, you’ll miss out on valuable experience about yourself and how to navigate the world.
