## What is Nardy?

Nardy brings both classic games to one beautifully carved board: long nardy, the favourite of tea houses from Baku to Tbilisi and Yerevan, and short nardy, known around the world as backgammon.

PLAY THE WAY YOU LIKE
• Online against players everywhere, with a rating for every game type
• Blitz, rapid or daily: 30 seconds, one minute or one day per move
• Challenge friends: find them by @username or share an invite code
• Against the computer on three levels, or pass the phone between two players

ROLL FOR REAL
Tap Roll or shake your phone to throw the dice, and feel them rattle in your hand. Every game opens with a roll for the first move. Now and then a die bounces off the board or lands on its edge, just like at a real table, and you throw again.

MAKE THE BOARD YOURS
Choose from walnut, teahouse oak, malachite, mother of pearl, lapis and tournament felt boards, six sets of checkers including Gzhel porcelain, and six kinds of dice. The Luxe collection adds carved Armenian boards and epoxy resin that shimmers as you tilt the phone, and the bear-off tray can sit on either side.

FAIR AND FRIENDLY
The server rolls the dice and checks every move. Ratings use the Glicko-2 system. Report or block players in one tap.

Rules: long nardy follows the traditional rules (no hitting, one checker from the head per turn, no six-point blockade in front of all opposing checkers). Short nardy uses standard backgammon rules with gammons and backgammons.
