## What is Narval?

Narval is a fast, calendar-first scheduling app built for the people who run service businesses — barbers, stylists, nail and brow/lash artists, massage therapists, and tattoo studios. Start solo, for free. Every account gets a personal calendar the moment you sign in — no setup, no org, no payment. When you're ready to run a team, create an organization and see everyone's day on one shared board, a column per employee.

• One-tap booking — pick a time, a person, and go. Type a client and service freely, or link them to your directory.

• A hands-on tour you tap through yourself — choose the personal or the organisation walkthrough, and every step highlights the real control.
• Join an organisation from an invite link or a short code without leaving the app.
• Press and hold an empty slot on the calendar to start a booking at that time.
• Moving a booking now takes its reminders with it.
• Clearer messages when an invitation has expired, was already used, or was sent to a different address.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-08-23

• Edit your name, currency and time zone any time in Settings → My profile — they used to be set once during sign-up and then locked.
• Quiet hours can now be switched off. Turning them off previously appeared to work but the window came back.
• Contact types on a client (Phone, Email, Telegram…) are now shown in your language.
• Rate Narval and Send feedback added to Settings, and signing out asks for confirmation first.
• Fixed a crash on iPad when resizing the window in Split View or Stage Manager.
