Sometimes some clothes that was accidentally on the floor while mapping is added as carpets which i cannot remove. Now i have to choose between avoiding carpet, vacuum carpet, washing carpet or crossing carpet. I cannot delete carpet. Cannot save carpet edits in iphone. I dont have carpets but floor mats that is misidentified as carpets. Most days i remove the floor mats but some days if I forget, I then go edit the recognised carpet from the map editing option in the app. But the carpet editing option cannot be done as there is no save button. I think the previous update didn’t have any issue with carpet editing. Please bring back the older settings. ### 3/5 — Need improving *2026-08-29, version 2.7.92* I purchased the narwal free x ultra. Overall, I’m happy with the product although there’s a few things that are left to be desired. First, it needs to mop closer to the edge boards. I can see it mop and it leaves 2 to 3 inches maybe more of a gap around the perimeter in many of the areas. Second your scan mapping isn’t accurate. It blends multiple rooms together, even though there’s doors. Very hard to edit it afterwards very tedious. Third when cleaning a room I understand it does the perimeter first, but I would like an option for the vacuum to go both ways around the perimeter and then proceed in the middle Fourth I would like to see some kind of fluid indicator. So many times I go upstairs and put the vacuum running downstairs only to find out it’s out of water and then I have to go back downstairs and deal with it. Fifth for the love of God, put the starless mode off by default, please. I almost had an accident the first time I got this machine. Whoever thought that was a good idea should be told it wasn’t. It’s fine to have the option but go with the majority. And the majority of people have basements and stairs, even some steps. That’s all for now. Update. For the love of god let us edit the carpet. I’m deleting the app and reinstalling. Then suddenly the app wouldn’t connect to the vacuum. Tried rebooting numerous times but no success. Now I can only run vacuum from on/off button. These operations start after every mop and vacuum and take a VERY LONG TIME. I want to disable them and manually do it. Everything else is great about the app and the robot. Please give us options to disable the two operations s. ### 5/5 — Workhorse of a Vacuum *2026-06-30, version 2.6.95* We bought the Flow 2 vac/mop for a large home. The Flow 2 could easily be used in commercial settings. It is a heavy robust machine. Vacuums well & mops even better. The app easily mapped out our main floor of about 1800 sq ft. We added a lower space of 800 sq ft as a 2nd map. It was easy to set up a daily schedule for the robot with the desired tasks. First, you choose the device, then you choose the desired map to set the tasks for the specific space. The app is pretty intuitive & loaded with features & monitoring so you know the status of items, such as the dust bin. It would be helpful to have help bubbles for the views with icons. Overall, the system works so well, we ordered a 2nd Flow 2 for upstairs areas. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — The mapping function is terrible *2026-09-07, version 2.8.91* It can’t correctly map the space in the middle. The app constantly has glitches, it says the robot cannot connect, I can’t access the map, and no amount of resetting or restarting or troubleshooting is working. Absolutely awful when trying to divide an open-plan kitchen/dining/living area. It makes the device almost unusable because I cannot divide the larger room by surface type and cleaning preference. Even technician who comes for installation doesn’t have any idea on required details to ensure the warranty and he changes his words when we identity any technical issues with product.
