The next track is read from your NAS while the current one plays and handed straight to the audio engine, so an album runs from first track to last with no break at all on FLAC, ALAC, WAV and AIFF. Build your own queue. - Press and hold Select on any track or folder to Play Next or Add to Queue, pull in everything after a track, then reorder, remove, or jump around from the Up Next screen. Your queue survives closing the app. Save your queue as a playlist. - Name it, and the app writes a real .m3u8 file to your share. Open it here, on your phone, or in any desktop player. Sorting arrives. - Sort any folder by Album Order, Name, Date, Size, Format, Album, Artist, Album Artist, Year or Genre, in either direction. - Album Order reads disc and track numbers from your tags, so an album whose files are named by song title finally plays in the right order. - Tags are read from the server without downloading your music, and cached so it happens once. Play All and Shuffle. - Start a whole folder in one press. Plus: a clearer header, distinct Repeat Off and Repeat All icons, and automatic recovery on files the system decoder refuses. ### 6.3 — 2026-08-10 Pick your share instead of guessing it - You no longer need to remember the exact name your NAS uses for a shared folder. Type your server address, press Browse shares, and choose from everything your account can actually open. If a connection fails because the name was wrong, the app now offers you the real list on the spot. Connection errors that name the real problem - Almost every failed connection used to say the same thing: check your password. Now the app asks your server what actually went wrong and tells you plainly - the share name does not exist, the folder exists but your account cannot open it, the credentials were refused, or the server is still running the obsolete SMB1 protocol. For SMB1 you get the exact setting to change, named for your device, whether that is a Synology, a QNAP or a Netgear ReadyNAS. Your music, titled the way you tagged it - Tracks are now listed by the title and artist stored inside each file, so a carefully tagged library finally looks like one instead of a wall of file names. Titles also appear faster than before, without waiting on cover art. Prefer your own file naming? One switch in Settings puts it back exactly as it was. ### 6.2 — 2026-08-06 Your artwork, exactly the way you tagged it. If you have spent time getting the covers in your music library right, this update makes sure you actually see them.
