### 4/5 — 😑

*2026-07-29, version 6.9*

Good and bad news The good news is that you can actually do stuff on it. The bad news is the. AR thingies you can just move them around why doesn’t it let you see the stages

### 4/5 — It can be better

*2026-07-15, version 6.8*

It‘s a good App but there Yes something wrong Ican’t open all of news，also can Not open live videosfrom the station

### 4/5 — Bug

*2026-05-11, version 6.4*

My app keeps crashing when I try to look at my favorited pictures. Could you please attempt to fix or tell me how to fix it myself? Other than that, everything’s good. Thanks.

### 3/5 — Be better

*2026-04-10, version 6.3*

For an agency that embodies science and technology, there’s a lot of unnecessary bugs in this app.

### 5/5 — Why do they always do updates that make an app worse? Live view no longer works!! Live view is back.

*2026-04-09, version 6.3*

Ok, thanks for fixing what was wrong with the previous update. Everything is working great again. Quick response by NASA app developer and the newest update fixed all the issues I was having on my iPhone. Great job!!
5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ STARS

Latest update messed up my ability to rotate views on my iPhone. Now only available view is landscape. Why would you do this? Please revert to our choosing what view to use. Now the live view no longer works!!
Live view is back on the app but orientation is still not allowing anything but landscape views.

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2026-04-09, version 6.3*

Dear nasa this app is perfect also you should test rockets on Kerbal Space Program

### 3/5 — can't zoom out the view of orion capsule in space

*2026-04-09, version 6.3*

i would really appreciate being able to zoom out the view of the orion capsule in space with all three celestial bodies in the same window with orion.

🌎earth...🚀orion...☀️sun...🌖moon.

how hard is that?

the mouse thumb wheel scroll up or down only makes the orion craft smaller or larger.

### 2/5 — Underwhelming

*2026-04-09, version 6.3*

As an app overall it’s underwhelming

### 5/5 — Jack Dera

*2026-04-07, version 6.2*

It is fun

### 5/5 — Very educational

*2026-04-07, version 6.2*

It is very educational for me and i just love the imagery and videos!!!!!!:)

### 5/5 — Feel good storey for Humanity

*2026-04-07, version 6.2*

This is a great way to escape the realities of our fragile existence with how we treat each other and the balance of life on planet earth and earth itself. The best parts of it all are looking back at home (earth) and understanding we gotta treat her better cuz mother earth is all we got thats keeping us alive. Stop killing each other and start supporting each other and a lot more can be accomplished. Im order for us to save the planet and all life as we know it takes bigger hearts, morals, science and cooperation globally. I’d rather live on a healing planet earth than feel the need to move on and off this miracle we call planet earth. Just sayin’

### 2/5 — So difficult to find update information and pics

*2026-04-06, version 6.2*

I go on there to see update photos and location of the mission and I can never find what I want. I see pics posted on other media formats but never on this app. You have some of the smartest people in the world world there this could be much much better.

### 5/5 — New version working great

*2026-04-06, version 6.2*

The update really fixed lots of issues. Love having access to see what is going on. Please give us more love screens with with details.

More high res video and pictures directly from the app would be great too.

Godspeed Artemis

### 4/5 — Bugs affect usability & accessibility for visually impaired users

*2026-04-06, version 6.2*

UPDATE: The issues with dynamic text size were fixed. Thank you so much! ***I want to love this app, but the main reason I downloaded it was to use the AR features to look at the Artemis II mission. It gets completely borked and doesn’t work at all if you use a larger text size than the minimum. All the text and side menu items disappear. Videos and news items seem to be unaffected by this bug, but I admit I haven’t tried to look at everything available. If you allow dynamic text in your app, you should TEST IT TO MAKE SURE IT WORKS AS INTENDED WITH ALL TEXT SIZES.

### 4/5 — Great application, hard to read AROW

*2026-04-06, version 6.2*

This is a really great and appreciated application! It is a bloody pain, however to have to use a calculator to decipher the posted distances from the earth and moon and the speeds given. ‘Miles’ went out decades ago. Time to give that arcane terminology up and go with worldwide standards! Thanks.

### 5/5 — THEY LISTENED TO ME! :D

*2026-04-06, version 6.2*

The app is great especially since NASA gave me a direct contact about the bugs, they have fixed them and the app doesn’t crash and looks way better! :D Thanks NASA you’re the GOAT!

### 5/5 — Works week

*2026-04-06, version 6.2*

As of 6.2 the app works well.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Lies

*2026-06-28, version 6.8*

Don’t believe everything NASA shows you. Just saying. there’s a very big secret they get paid billions a year to keep hidden

### 1/5 — I struggled to get the app to load content

*2026-04-07, version 6.2*

This app was so disappointing. I was very excited about Artemis II content and the interactive feature. But the app often failed to load key images and stories. And the interactive Artemis feature failed to work at all.

### 1/5 — Does not work

*2026-04-06, version 6.2*

You can’t find where Artemis is because it’s got no data ! Kind of important part of the whole thing

### 1/5 — New video player still not right

*2026-04-05, version 6.2*

1) The new video player auto rotates to landscape immediately, but still does not fill the screen effectively. There’s a black bar at the bottom (iPhone 16 pro). Ok, used the double arrow to expand it. Nice. But now I lose my controls for player settings. And there are two Xs to close it instead of a standard swipe. This is the consumer world of IT *not* a spacecraft - why is it over-complicated?

2) also, The email to technical support using the technical support option in the settings Menu of the app does Not work either. The mail will not send.

3) also, 50 characters without a character counter is a bit frustrating.

### 1/5 — Lots of glitches

*2026-04-04, version 6.1*

Lots of glitches. The app isn’t usable.

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2026-04-04, version 6.1*

I wrote a review several days ago but evidently it was too harsh and deleted.

It’s an app with a bunch of links to web pages. The AR/VR is terribly buggy and doesn’t work 90% of the time. I downloaded this to track Artemis II progress like NASA advertised and I can’t track anything. No live video. No live mission audio. No map. Just links to news article web pages and old pictures and videos. It’s 2026 NASA, let’s “get with the program”.

### 1/5 — Artemis section not working properly.

*2026-04-03, version 6.1*

It does not load quickly and sometimes not at all. I’ve had to delete the app and reinstall it to get that section working again. If you click the settings icon, you can’t get out of it and have to shut down and restart the Artemis section. Needs a lot of work.

### 1/5 — Similar to Artemis II

*2026-04-03, version 6.1*

This app reminds me of Artemis rocket 🚀 it works but clunky and a lot of work to use. Hopefully not developed by NASA

### 1/5 — Provide option for measurements in metric

*2026-04-03, version 6.1*

Love the moon, love the science, love the miracle.
Not loving mental gymnastics like it’s 1969 to convert imperial to metric. You can fly a rocket to the moon so you can also provide a toggle for metric given most of the world uses that. Please and thank you.

### 1/5 — AV/VR feature doesn’t work on iphone 17 pro

*2026-04-03, version 6.1*

Crashes soon after I start using the feature and won’t work thereafter unless I delete/reinstall the app. Disappointing. Another missed public engagement opportunity by NASA.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app 🛰️🪐🚀

*2026-07-16, version 6.8*

This is a good app for people who love learning about space like me, and it has daily news releases that are helpful for staying up to date about all kinds of discovery’s and new technologies. It has a feature called spacecraft AR which is an augmented reality that can place a spacecraft in your immediate surroundings. I don’t recommend this on a lower end device, because I have only been able to load 1 so far. I think if you love space, you should get this app!

### 5/5 — You won’t find out what’s up there until you get the nasa app

*2026-06-28, version 6.8*

This app is really good. It gives you updates about everything and it does this really cool 3d thing. It shows you the planets and you can turn it around to see it from different angles. Also, it gives you the news and stuff about artemis. As for the developers, I think you’ve done a great job.

### 5/5 — I was on the mission

*2026-04-11, version 6.3*

This app allowed me to follow the astronauts entire journey, I felt as thought I was there with them, minus the itty-bitty living space 😂😂😂
