### 3/5 — Notification

*2026-08-04, version 3.1*

Have notifications bring you to the verse. Sometimes I get a notification, I read it, and I’m interested to read more, but when I click it brings me nowhere near the verse in the notification.

### 3/5 — Got a new phone

*2025-10-08, version 3.1*

Got a new phone….but the app would not let me in. had to create a new account….so I had to start over ….. lol…..no worries just letting you know thanks

### 2/5 — Over Inflated Adds

*2024-12-03, version 3.1*

To many Pop up Adds not related to my needs or Faith when accessing the scriptures

### 3/5 — Review

*2024-10-27, version 3.1*

I like the way each chapter can be marked when read. I do not like continuous interruptions by games I have no interest in getting. They break up my focus.

### 2/5 — Stupid

*2024-04-12, version 3.1*

How is it that one creates an app that has a book that contains 66 of them with divisions, chapters and verses and has no meaningful way to get back to the table of contents?? I get to one book and no way to get back to all other books!!No way to get to the table of contents EVEN AFTER I CLOSE THE APP. ENFURIATING. WHOEVER OR WHATEVER TEAM CREATED THIS YOU DIDNT FINISH THE PROJECT YOU DINT COMPLETE THE APP. NEXT TIME BEFORE PUBLISHING APP TEST IT FIRST!

### 3/5 — Dislike the Ad Choices

*2024-04-06, version 3.1*

All apps need revenue This app shows ads for violent games and politics. Although I like the Biblical translation it’s difficult to stay focused after some of these jarring interruptions. Pick better sponsors! I’d rather have an extra ad instead of the violence.

### 4/5 — Audio bible

*2023-08-18, version 3.1*

Of all the new American Standard Bible audio versions I’ve listened to, I like this one best. The reader does not rush through the verses, so I have time to think about them, and the tone in his voice is pleasant and easy to listen to. The downside of this program is that I can only get it to read one chapter at a time and then I have to advance to the next chapter and press play again. I wish it would just have a continuous play mode.

### 2/5 — The Bible doesn’t show the books of the Bible

*2022-09-24, version 3.1*

The app doesn’t show any of the books of the Bible except Genesis. Tried to use the help in the app but it didn’t work.

### 2/5 — All the bells and whistles

*2022-09-14, version 3.1*

I love the convenience of this app. It seems to me I’m not accessing possible features that would change the verse structure to a paragraph structure. This feature would help me understand context better.

### 2/5 — Leaves much to be desired

*2022-02-13, version 3.1*

Cons: lots of ads, frequently for stuff that is directly opposed to Biblical Christianity. The titles of various sections are lumped in with the verses so you don’t know if it’s part of the verse or just a heading describing the next part of the passage.

Pro: you can mark a chapter as read if you are reading through the Bible in a year, but wait, the marking feature occasionally marks a whole lot read automatically in the table of contents that you didn’t actually mark and you have to get down to the actual chapter and inspect it individually to see where you really are. (Actually this feature works fine in the OT…just a New Testament issue…)

### 2/5 — Disappointed

*2021-12-06, version 3.1*

Not what I expected

### 1/5 — NO ADVERTISEMENTS!!!

*2021-07-17, version 3.1*

THE WORD OF THE LORD DOES NOT NEED ADVERTISEMENTS.

### 1/5 — Ads

*2021-06-27, version 3.1*

I do not need to be watching an ad every time I open my Bible to read it.

### 1/5 — Can’t see Books

*2021-03-11, version 3.1*

It would be nice, but the list of book names is blank. I can randomly click a box and the name will come up, but that doesn’t help too much when you have a specific place to find.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not user friendly

*2026-06-27, version 3.1*

This app is not easy to use. Constant pop ups are an issue, and it is not easy to navigate use of OT or NT. Plus, the names of the books are not listed only the number of chapters in the initial page

### 1/5 — Why?

*2026-01-03, version 3.1*

Very disconcerting to have to go through a 30 second slot machine game add before I’m allowed to read Scripture.

### 1/5 — Adds games

*2025-10-30, version 3.1*

Popups constantly

### 1/5 — My opinion

*2025-02-26, version 3.1*

Too pricy no refund don’t like layout. Unable to contact support .

### 1/5 — Ads

*2024-11-03, version 3.1*

Read a few verses and then the ads start. Nothing but ads and no way to delete them. OK, I’ve seen your ad, read it and now I would like to get back to the Bible but no way to get rid of the ad. Close the app and reopen and it’s still there. I had to delete the app.

### 1/5 — DO NOT BUY

*2024-07-01, version 3.1*

There is an issue. It used to work, now the screen is blank

### 1/5 — Keep your mind stayed on the Lord

*2023-09-24, version 3.1*

Why do you offer stupid games which take a person away from keeping their eyes stayed on the Lord and put them on games. That is a tactic of evil. Do you think Father God approves that.?

### 1/5 — It’s falsely advertised

*2022-07-09, version 3.1*

I only paid for the subscription because it says in the ad it reads it to you by audio which it absolutely doesn’t so no need to purchase just to take notes lol

### 1/5 — Ads every time you open a scripture

*2021-10-15, version 3.1*

Every time you open a scripture you get a full screen ad. Super annoying. Deleting this app.

### 1/5 — Commercials and add

*2021-10-08, version 3.1*

I dont want these commercials with audio blasting in on me!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great for sight impaired

*2025-10-19, version 3.1*

I have been using this in church for Bible study. It is perfect for when the teacher gives out single verses to take turns reading. The verses are easy to look up and the font size goes up to huge, which is great for sight impaired or seniors. The ads, if one should pop up, is at the bottom and doesn’t make a noise so it doesn’t’t interfere with anything. And it even has a feature that isolates each verse so it takes up the whole screen. I love it, thank you!

### 5/5 — Love,Love,Love this Bible App.

*2023-02-17, version 3.1*

Did I say I love, love, love this Bible app, this is the best Bible ever!!! not a lot of hoopla, bells, and whistles just a basic Bible with a few add ons.
I am praying it stays simple and easy to use,but unfortunately most things don’t nowadays. but I will enjoy the simplicity while I can, Thank you.

### 5/5 — Works for me

*2022-03-14, version 3.1*

Easy to use and no glitches. So far so good.

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2021-06-06, version 3.1*

I am completely blind, and this app is very accessible for me to use. I have a screen reader called VoiceOver on my iPhone. In fact, all Apple products have VoiceOver. Anyways, I wanted to thank the developers of this app. It is hard to find accessible Bible apps, but this one is perfect for me! Thanks again!😊🥰

### 5/5 — Gods word

*2021-02-21, version 3.1*

I have always had difficulty understanding other versions of the Bible. The NASB is easy to read and convenient.

### 5/5 — Easy to Find

*2021-02-14, version 3.1*

I love having a digital copy. It allows me to reference easily and holds my place as I read.

### 5/5 — Excellent.

*2021-02-13, version 3.1*

Easy to manage.

### 5/5 — God is awesome!!!

*2021-02-02, version 3.1*

So art thou for providing thine with the NASB. Thank thou for ending thine cry baby stuff over a county bible.

### 5/5 — Do not purchase the ad free version

*2020-10-22, version 2.5*

The punctuation and capitalization on this app is a mess. The purchase version advertises an “offline mode” yet doesn’t provide an easily visible way for the user to go offline. The audio version sounds like a robot from a bad sci-fi movie. If you use this, please only use the free version and be prepared to be interrupted a lot by pop up ads for in-app purchases. It doesn’t make for a peaceful and meditative time of scripture reading.

### 5/5 — NASB makes it clearer.

*2020-10-17, version 2.5*

In Isaiah 49:6 NASB capitalized the word You which makes this verse a lot clearer. Therefore I’m switching to this version.
