## What is Nassau St?

Nassau is a portfolio management system for stock markets.

Uses and features:

- Manage trade notes and executions. Stock ledger. 
- Cash deposits and withdrawals ( financial transactions )
- Google Docs price information ( quotes deferred 15 minutes )
- 2000+ instruments ( shares, FIIs, ETFs, BDRs, ADRs, Indexes, Currencies )
- Use default data or make your own customized market data set.
- Quote updates each 5 minutes during sessions.
- Maintain multiple accounts.  
- Portfolio allocation pie chart.
- Multiple instruments in comparative chart.
- Local database ( not in the cloud )
- Text based database for easy interaction with spreadsheets (via copy-paste)
- Capital Gain Tax calculation ( Brazilian tax rules for shares, FIIs, ETFs etc ).
- Positions in dec-31, for Brazilian Anual Income Tax Report

### 5.0 — 2026-05-04

- Fixed a bug in the text-to-speech (quote speaker). This caused the app to terminate after the first word was spoken ( only on recent iOS ) 
- Increased the font size of some texts.
- Modernized the SDK.

### 4.0 — 2024-10-26

- Fixed bug in daily chart. Previous version was not downloading series due to change in the source service. 
- Intra day chart is back (15 min bars )
- Selection of periods for dividends ( YTD, 1 y, 2 y, 5 years )
- Compiled with latter SDK

### 3.7 — 2023-06-27

* Fixed problem loading brokerage notes.

### 3.6 — 2023-06-20

* Historical series chart comparison tool. 
* Add instruments and formulas to the same chart, with common scale.
* Export series collection to text or spreadsheet ( using clipboard )

### 3.5 — 2023-04-05

* Fixed Capital Gains Tax calculation. Now a gain in shares can be compensated by a loss in ETFs and vice-versa.
* Order portfolio by today variation
* Dividends number includes total value, number of payments and yield
