Sometimes you find a place so genuinely special that you recall visiting there with great fondness. The National Gallery is one such. It is an island of calm that keeps itself afloat amidst the chaotic sea of London traffic. The gallery is centrally located at Trafalgar Square overlooking the majestic Nelson’s Column. This places it within a stone’s throw of several attractions, including Big Ben, Westminster, Downing Street, Horse Guards, St. James's Park, Hyde Park, and Buckingham Palace. By the third item in the tour you can’t follow it anymore, things were moved and the app hasn’t been updated. Bought this app to take an audio tour of the National Gallery as advertised. It cannot be used for this purpose. ### 1/5 — Broken by update *2018-06-13* My iPad 3rd gen, which runs iOS 9, can no longer update this app. It is not clear from the prerequisites why this should be, but it claims it cannot run on my machine. I'm not impressed by this. ### 3/5 — App mit sprachlichen Defizit *2016-01-26* Wer auf eine deutsche Übersetzung angewiesen ist, sollte auf alle Fälle diese App meiden. Selbst mit mäßigen Englischkenntnissen kann man dem Originaltext mehr entnehmen, als dem gequirlten Unsinn des verwendeten Übersetzungsprogramms.
