It did little good on my last trip around Mt Hood Or. Now I am considering taking it with me to the BWCA (Nothern MN- Canada), but I’m not very optimistic. So two stars may even be generous. **Developer response:** If you're planning a trip to Mount Hood in Oregon, use our Oregon Pocket Maps app. It's got all the detailed maps you need for national parks, state parks, and forests. In the past 2 months we worked on the search feature. You can find more than 70,000+ points of interests, 11,400+ trailheads and 7,300+ campgrounds and campsites. Buy the year subscription and try to view a National Monument. Oops. Need another subscription. Buy the year National Subscription and try to visit a National Forest. Oops. Need another subscription. **Developer response:** This app has *all* U.S. National Parks, National Monuments, National Recreation Areas, etc managed by the National Park System (NPS). I don’t need updates on all these parks that I’m not currently at! Update: I turn off the alerts for each park and I still get alerts for those same parks even though it shows that I turned that off! ### 1/5 — Glitch *2021-04-16* Attempted to use this multiple times during my trip to different NPs and it was glitching. Not losing at all. Useless to have went there is no phone service as well. Needs an offline option. **Developer response:** The app was designed especially for the offline case! As soon as you open a park, the app will download texts, photos, audio guides, the latest news and alerts automatically on the device. You can download park maps, brochures and sections of the base map, too. We would like to hear about any glitches you experienced out there. Please use the "feedback" function in the app's settings menu. We will try to fix any issues in the upcoming releases.
