There IT department is even worse than the app and it is no wonder the app is so terrible. I have notified their IT department and get the same ridiculous recommendation of re installing the app but without any significant benefit. I guess their editorial department never gets to read the e-paper to experience frustrations of their readership or possibly they can’t be bothered, and maybe they prefer to read their competitors as their apps are more reliable. Have fun contacting them directly and actually speaking to someone.
