I tried to update my local map from home to include a toilet that I saw was missing. It was so difficult to add the toilet, almost impossible. It wanted me to be right at the entrance to the toilet with my phone and it needed so many details from me that it was impossible to actually add the toilet and so in the end I just gave up and deleted the app ### 4/5 — A really annoying app. *2026-05-13, version 5.19* This app is really annoying. Every time you open it there are two pop up that you need to close. It’s constantly asking you if you are enjoying the app and to rate it. When i say constantly it will pop up again seconds after closing it. You can’t specify public toilets only- no, i don’t want the possible awkwardness of using a toilet in a business. It can’t show you your position on the map. The recentre command which a reasonable person would assume would just takes you to a random spot. ### 2/5 — Map does not show all registered toilets *2026-03-21, version 5.19* Just tried to add Top Ryde Shopping Centre, which does not show on the map. However the app reported that there was already toilet facilities there 90m from my mark. If so, it SHOULD have been showing on the map ### 4/5 — A must have app *2026-03-19, version 5.19* This is such a helpful app for when you’re out and about outside of your local area. A couple of suggestions: please allow more than 16 results when looking at the list. Secondly, can you make the markers different colours for the different types of facilities as this would make it easier to see at a glance. ### 4/5 — Potential to be a perfect app *2026-03-12, version 5.19* Would be 5 stars if it wasn’t for one very annoying feature. You are only able to view a maximum of 16 toilets at a time. You think that you’re looking at all available toilets within a certain location until you zoom in a little or move the map slightly and then more toilets appear that weren’t visible previously. This is definitely a step in the right direction. NZ have a program called kiwicamp where anyone can register to use hot shower, toilet, washing machines, and pay as they go. It’s fabulous and helps one keep their dignity. Especially when it shows more public toilets than Apple Maps or Google maps, you can update your preferences to find bathrooms and toilets that suit your needs and is an essential if you frequently travel, especially if you have special facility needs or inconsistent issues.
