The app tells me that right now it's 82.9 degrees outside. This is giving me weather from Roseburg. I sincerely doubt that it's ever been that hot here. This is with location services on... ### 1/5 — Ads are highly suspect *2026-05-25* I enjoyed this app enough after a couple of days that I was ready to purchase the premium version. Then I opened it today to find a full-screen ad designed to look like a security warning, implying my iPad had a virus or had been locked. The buttons to dismiss it didn’t work — the only functional option redirected me to the App Store to download a separate “cleaner” app. This is a classic scare tactic, and whether or not the developers are directly behind it, it’s unacceptable. Legitimate apps don’t use fake malware warnings to push users toward other products. When I want the NWS forecast and discussion, however, this is what I use. It loads fast, has the latest forecast and discussion, and doesn't distract with non-essential fluff. The extras are there if you need them, but not force fed to you.
