## What is Nationality Rooms?

Explore the Nationality and Heritage Rooms in the University of Pittsburgh's iconic Cathedral of Learning through this dynamic audio guide. 

The audio guide includes descriptions of each of the 31 Nationality and Heritage Rooms, exploring their past, present and future. Learn about the exquisite craftsmanship, symbolism and local, national and international history represented in each room. 

The Nationality and Heritage Rooms at the University of Pittsburgh were designed to represent and celebrate the cultures of various ethnic groups that settled in Allegheny County.  Located on the first and third floors of the Cathedral of Learning, they are a community space where visitors are invited to experience the rich heritage of the communities who inspired and supported their creation.  The Nationality Rooms are also in use as university classrooms, giving students the opportunity to engage in learning in a unique setting that helps them to explore the historic diversity of the Pittsburgh region.
