Smh. *2024-10-22, version 1.9.2* Not a great app. Not helped by the totally confusing ticket options. No wonder people get fined. Even the people who run the trains don’t understand their services. Only train nerds on Youtube get it, but we’re not all Geoff Marshall. I can’t even book a ticket for more than one person that’s how rubbish this app is! ### 2/5 — Just about useable *2024-10-06, version 1.9.2* Significant downgrade in usefull functions to navigate cancelled/delayed trains and last minute platform changes, but unlike the new iPhone version this still has some use and it’s nice to be reminded on every screen how much I’ve saved by not buying tickets direct from them! ### 2/5 — Recent Search *2023-03-29, version 1.9.2* No option to reset or clear recent searches. ### 2/5 — Live train times destination and arrivals shown incorrectly *2022-11-16, version 1.9.2* Why can’t this be sorted….it was highlighted a long time ago. ### 2/5 — I would use this if it had an in-app purchase to suppress ads *2022-06-11, version 1.9.2* But it doesn't, so ... no. And the popups keep coming….. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2022-01-24, version 1.9.2* Failed to work within 3 minutes of download. First, locked into landscape mode. Then impossible to buy a ticket due to server error. Uninstalling immediately. ### 2/5 — iPad version won’t find my station *2021-12-23, version 1.9.2* The iPad version of this app can’t find my local station - Robroyston which ‘cannot be found’ but my phone app and the browser site can. Bizarre. (Note using updated app) ### 1/5 — Useless *2021-11-06, version 1.9.1* Tried to do a journey coventry to Worcester all stations via Stourbridge junction and it say can’t find the stations what crap is that. I only downloaded the app because the National Rail Enquiries site stopped functioning properly. The app is worse. Many new stations missing. They ask for feedback but never do anything with it. Kinda ok when you get used to it, but clearly wasn’t properly bug-tested before release. ### 3/5 — Please do not update this iPad version to be like the iPhone version *2024-08-13, version 1.9.2* The new iPhone version is useless, I’m giving the iPad version 3 stars as its not perfect but better than the new iPhone version which I wouldn’t give any stars. On this version why have the stupid response “ you can’t plan a journey in the past” I know that perfectly but I might want to recheck a journey from earlier in the day. Agree the app has got worse over time… was great say 5 years ago. Also the way of setting the time is really irritating ### 3/5 — Needs updating for new stations *2024-07-09, version 1.9.2* East Linton Station is new - it opened in December 2023 - so almost 8 months ago. After a brief hiatus period - it appears on all the websites and apps - including National Rail website and iphone app - and you can book tickets etc. However, for some reason it does not appear on the ipad version of the app. ### 3/5 — Can’t download pocket timetable *2022-04-30, version 1.9.2* I used to be able to plan a journey and then download the relevant pocket timetable. Not any more. Hunting around, I found a menu to create one but there’s no option to download it for later use. Now I can’t find it again! Should be a main menu item. Poor show. According to your app, it doesn’t exist. It does on the iPhone version. ### 3/5 — Lost station *2020-08-17, version 1.8.4* Why is Mouradian water not on the map it’s been opened for a year it replaced the angel. ### 3/5 — No Longer Supports Dark Mode? *2020-01-19, version 1.8.4* Recently, this app seems to think “white text on a white background” is an acceptable approach. After a few tries (and no help from the settings *within* the App), I discovered that switching the whole phone to Light Mode enabled it to work again. This is clearly a workaround rather than a fix. Hopefully NatRail is working on sorting this properly. (As others have commented, this App used to be really good but seems to be getting worse over time...) ### 3/5 — Lacking info *2018-09-27* Why can’t I see the National Service Indicator on this official app?
