Then when you try again to check out, it makes you sign in again. And on and on in an endless loop. Their website has the same problem, was hoping the app would be better but no. ### 1/5 — cant place order! *2025-02-24, version 3.0.7* stupid after the last update it runs me in circles and wont even let me place any orders! ### 1/5 — Glitchy app *2024-11-25* Great concept but the app has too many bugs. Won’t load, unable to get points for orders placed in the store….fix the problem and the app rating will improve!! ### 1/5 — This one star for the app *2024-06-22, version 3.0.7* This is not refection on the restaurant itself. The staff was brilliant and extremely professional and friendly. The food was delicious. This 1 Star is for the app which did not deliver what it promised. I was supposed to get a Free Gift - A side, since this was my first purchase since I signed up for the Rewards program. But the QR Code did not work for my free side. And the staff tried everything to give me the gift. I just feel the app needs a lot more work, so rewards can be delivered to is very loyal customers. ### 1/5 — App broken after most recent update. *2024-04-24* New redesign of the app after the most recent update is broken. My account doesn’t stay logged in and previous orders are not showing. Plus there’s too many steps required to get to where you can actually order food. Please revert to the previous version of the app or fix this one! ### 2/5 — Help *2022-11-23* There should be a way to sign out of the app. ### 2/5 — Can’t make special requests *2022-07-25, version 1.1* I didn’t see where I can make special requests like: no butter on toast; toast the bread dark; extra crispy hashbrowns; etc. ### 1/5 — No Sacramento stores in app *2022-07-06, version 1.1* There are no Sacramento nations listed in the application.It’s always best to have all your stores available on your application ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work as it should *2026-08-16* Can’t order through the app. Spent 15 mins creating my order and then when I went to checkout to use my loyalty membership it asked me to update my info. I just did that when I logged in but ok. It takes me to pick a store screen, I did then when I click on my cart to checkout AGAIN, asks me to update my info, then started a constant endless loop of checking out as a loyalty member update your membership. I wanted the points so ended up placing my order in the store anyway and had to give the cashier my phone number. It’s 2026, with all the advancements in tech this level of app functionality is unacceptable. ### 1/5 — Broken App and Terrible Customer Service *2026-04-08* Like many other people, the app placed my order 2 hours away from my location. Even though it says you can cancel from the app, my order history was empty so there was nothing to cancel. I spoke with my local restaurant that shared multiple people have expressed this issue and to call customer service. I emailed their support email and let them know of the situation. They refunded me, but it will take 7 days to arrive. No apology, no further action to remediate the situation. Just putting the burden on the customer to fix the issue without fixing their service or apologizing. Terrible business practice. Don’t eat with Nations or download their app. This company that doesn’t respect your time or money is not worth yours. ### 1/5 — Don’t order from app *2026-03-16* App tried to send my order to a store 2 hours away. I caught it and changed the store. It made me resign in and put my order again. When I pushed order it sent it to the other store. I called the store. They told me they couldn’t cancel it and to call 1800 number. Then they didn’t have a 1800 so they gave me another number and that was no longer in service. I called the store I wanted to order from to see if they could help and they told me you can’t order from app only door dash or grub hub. SMH. So don’t waste your time. Now I’m out the money and no food ### 1/5 — Can’t place an order *2025-12-08* Every time you select a location, you get an error screen. Which is pointless if you want to end loyalty rewards…. Please fix this. It is very frustrating. Bottom line, this app does not work. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — great place *2025-07-07* amazing food ### 5/5 — Excellent experience @NationsGiantHamburgers *2023-09-12, version 1.2* Our bacon cheeseburger was the best in a long time; so juicy and mouth watering delicious; all my toppings was so fresh and the bun so soft; seasoning was on site perfect perfection; our fries so crispy and hot; just the right lunch meal ever in awhile; we even had two hotdogs so fresh and tasty as well; we also ordered a half of the famous lemon cheese cake ; we’re so full to eat it right now; it will be eaten as a night snack; the perfect location is in Berkeley on university avenue; there’s plenty of parking; clean store; excellent customer service; friendly staff; Thanks for a wonderful hot juicy lunch ### 5/5 — Convenient and easy to use *2023-03-22* Have used the app several times and find it very convenient. Now with the app its quicker and easier to order ahead and just walk in and pick it up. Seems like it was only at a few stores but it looks like all stores are now part of the app. Tip: always add a slice of pie. I saved that coupon to use when I was in Berkeley near my job , I have been in Berkeley 35 working Nations is the only hamburger place I go to why would I use a “fake” coupon? ### 3/5 — Can’t order a single (one) fountain drink *2023-03-11* When I select “soda from a cup”, there are two occurrences where I can select the size. I assume this just a mistake in the app, but I cannot remove one of them and if I only select the size for one, I get an error message requiring a size to be entered for the second occurrence. So my cart ends up having two soft drinks, but I only want one. ### 3/5 — Need mor options or a note section *2022-09-04* I eat lettuce wraps .
