### 3/5 — Great App

*2020-10-06, version 2.30.7*

Was a great app. Have been using for over a year and suddenly will no longer open. Tried deleting and downloading again- still immediately closes. Works online version but app works better on phone. Very disappointed

### 3/5 — Not crazy about this

*2013-01-29, version 1.3*

No barcode scanner. Not a lot of foods in database. My first day I had to "create" three common foods. But I am stuck using this bc it is required for a wellness program at work.

### 1/5 — AI COACHES

*2026-01-07, version 3.0.0*

My nutritionist was replaced by AI!!

### 1/5 — Does not work with iPhone

*2025-03-03, version 2.45.4*

I used this app successfully with a Samsung for a few years, but many of the functions do not work with a new IPhone 16

### 1/5 — App won’t stay open

*2022-09-26, version 2.42.0*

Keeps closing soon as it opens

### 1/5 — Won’t stay open

*2022-09-21, version 2.42.0*

As soon as it opens it closes

### 1/5 — Unable to create account

*2022-02-22, version 2.40.17*

When trying to set up the account I am told that i need to enter an authorization code but I never received one. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still receive the same message

### 1/5 — $175 surprise?!? DO NOT USE THIS APP

*2020-12-29, version 2.30.7*

So I just got an explanation of benefits from Tufts that this app charged $175 for the nutritionist. I thought the nutritionist was a bot, that’s how useful it was. I already pay for a nutritionist, so why would I use some random person in an app that’s never met me? Total scam

### 2/5 — Frustrating to use

*2024-04-22, version 2.45.4*

I was directed to this app by my health insurance and it’s been a major pain to use.

The food search results are confusing with odd measurement options and then there’s the all too often “Sorry, no results,” such as searching for Hillshire Farm Honey Ham and no results show but if I search for just Hillshire Farm, dozens of results appear and I have to wade thru them all.

Why isn’t there a way to put the amount of water I drank for the entire day instead of having to record this at the different meal sections?

The “This combination is” options make no sense. Soda? Medicine? I end up using “Other” almost every time to designate my combo as a meal, such as when I make my normal club sandwich. These same options show up under “This recipe is…” for the “Create Recipe” section.

When creating a recipe, it requires a number to be put in for “Makes____Serving.” If I’m making my baked fries, I know I’m using two potatoes but I don’t know a serving size. Why isn’t there an option to use cups or ounces or…?

If I’m logging in food from a previous day, the screen returns to the Today log after I select a food to add to the previous day, forcing me to tab backwards to whatever day I was updating.

There’s no way to see a history of when I weigh myself, only whatever the current number was. It’d be helpful to be able to look back and compare what I ate one week and see what my weight was then.

### 2/5 — A Disappointment

*2023-03-10, version 2.43.0*

This app was suggested by my insurance company. Unfortunately, it’s not very accurate. Many of the food listed do not have the correct nutritional information. The food measurements are inconsistent. IMO, everything should have standard measurements (grams/ounces, ounce/milliliters, etc) in addition to arbitrary measurements (#lettuce leaves, number of olives, etc). There’s no positive re-enforcement of food choices./Food suggestions that are contrary to articles. All in all a waste of time and effort. I’ll give it until I hear from my “coach”, but it’s already been a week since I was asked for convenient time and have received anything confirmation. The only thing I received was what looks like a standard reply as it didn’t address anything personal. I had hope this could help, but so far I’m disappointed.

### 2/5 — Outdated advice.

*2018-12-09, version 2.29.1*

The app is ok but it’s ideas of good nutrition are pretty outdated. You basically tank your score if you have any saturated fat and it loves tofu but not chicken. I mean what is this? The 90’s? I am yet to loose any weight with this and it’s been months and months even working with their nutritionist.

### 3/5 — was great but not connected all day

*2021-12-22, version 2.40.17*

App will not yield any search results (tells me to Try Again). Frustrating.

instead of the dial feature to adjust numbers, could you change it to free input instead so i’m not scrolling for days to put a value in the hundreds and accidentally clicking out of the food entry window and i have to start all over again

### 5/5 — Health Plan Recommends

*2022-01-13, version 2.40.17*

I joined a fitness program offered by my health plan. They wanted me to use this app and a registered dietition checks in and reviews my entries offering good support. It tracks a number of things that are important to me including macros, exercise, water and calories. As with any new app, it takes a few days to get in the groove but it quickly becomes easy.

### 5/5 — Great Program

*2018-11-09, version 2.29.1*

The app is a great way to track my daily calories and nutrition. When combined with the guidance of a RD and a group of other friends I have lost over 30 pounds and reduced my glucose, cholesterol, and triglycerides. The work of logging my food is insignificant compared to the gains of knowledge and how it has changed my body

### 5/5 — More than just a calorie counter

*2013-02-01, version 1.3*

Just by paying attention to my Index each day, I was able to improve my overall nutrition. Unlike some apps that only track calories, Good Measures looks at 30 nutrients and helps you make better food choices to meet your unique nutrition needs. This app has great support too--the Good Measures dietitians have helped me personalize my nutrient goals so I could meet my training goals. And if I couldn't find a food, I just asked and they added it right away. I thought I had good eating habits before, but I've definitely changed them for the better.

### 5/5 — Live, Learn, Love it!!

*2013-01-31, version 1.3*

This App is a great addition to the Good Measures web service! It makes it so much easier to track your GMI when you can log on the go.

If you spend a little time entering in your foods online it makes the My Index app that much better; these days it takes me practically a few seconds to log one of my regular lunches!

Lately, I have really been getting into their meal suggestions, there is really nothing else out there like this! Change is actually attainable with this service, it works with what you already eat and maximizes the potential of your current eating habits, as well as incorporating new foods and transitioning to better eating habits.

All in all: incredibly effective and a fun/easy way to achieve your health goals!

### 5/5 — Finally broke 90

*2013-01-30, version 1.3*

This has definitely motivated me to eat better, more than any other thing I’ve tried. I’ve been trying really hard to give my Good Measures Index up to a 90, and I finally did it yesterday. Woo-hoo!!!!!!

### 5/5 — My Index is a great invention!

*2013-01-30, version 1.3*

Really cool. I've never seen anything else that integrates a ton of eating and exercise factors into a simple, single number, the Good Measures Index. Now I can tell how I am doing with my health and fitness. Not only that, Good Measures helps me with meal and food suggestions to so I can figure out ways to improve my Index. Their service team even created some of my personal foods for me in the database. These folks really care!

### 5/5 — Very Helpful

*2012-12-21, version 1.3*

Makes you aware of the impact of exercise on calorie usage. It's changed my eating habits.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2012-12-20, version 1.3*

Solid. Couldn't ask for a better way to get your eating on track.

### 5/5 — Changing what we eat

*2012-05-28, version 1.0.1*

Given all the food choices that we confront everyday, Good Measures presents a fresh way to eat better.

There are no silver bullets to better health, but this app gives a helping hand.

What's your score?

### 5/5 — Great App, Great Service

*2012-05-11, version 1.0*

Good Measures is a great tool that tailors to the individuals nutrition needs. This app works flawlessly and is a great addition to any already strong online platform. Highly recommend!
