I do wish I could make it tiny bit bigger since I’m using it without my glasses at night, but that’s my own issue. This app is exactly what it says it is which is exactly what I was looking for. Note for other new users, the settings to add the date and battery are in the settings app. Took me some digging and messing around in the app to figure it out. I leave mine as dim as it will go, and almost as small as it gets. The best part is that the developer isn’t harvesting user data. I can’t tell you how refreshing that is. I don’t need an alarm, just the ability to see the time if I desire. I can’t figure out, though, how to reach Settings, to display the date and battery status for instance or change from 12- to 24-hour display. How do I find Settings? I like that the pixels lighted are only those needed to show the information — no ghostly glow or garish glare when I look at it. (I cut an angled groove in a scrap of lumber that rests on a nightstand so my phone can lie on edge.) Now to think about other apps I’d like to see from this developer… ### 5/5 — Great App! This is a great clock face app! It works and it simple! Exactly what a clock needs! You can display the date and battery level if you want as well. But the best thing about it is that the annoying home bar at the bottom of the screen turns off after a few seconds. This doesn’t happen in any other nightstand app that I have used. I’m quite sensitive to light and find that the home bar is too bright especially when sleeping with my phone right next to my bed. All I really wanted is a dim clock to display the time so if I wake up I can have a peek at the time and then doze off again. I don’t want the bright white light of the home bar shining in my face all night. If I were to make any changes I think it might be nice to have an option to change the size of the clock displayed but I’m nitpicking. Once you open the app it takes you to the clock. I can only change color, brightness and size. No matter how much I finger my phone I can’t get a settings page. There is a work around to make it secure because when the app is open and running, one can access your phone.
