Rendering the app unusable and thus my expensive flower pot useless. Kickstarter scam! ### 1/5 — Nice Flower Pot *2018-01-17, version 1.0.7* Great idea, well made and the flower pot works but why tell me there’s an app? I’m so frustrated with the app, I’m ready to toss the pot! Connection and reconnect issues. Restart the pot, use the magnet/cap to start/stop. Drop the cap, rolls under the couch, can’t restart without the cap. Find the magnet. Move the magnet around hoping for a power light. Try to connect. Repeat. Repeat. Again, if the pot just did what it does, that would be great. ### 1/5 — Crap app *2017-12-12, version 1.0.6* Installed the app and now it wants a password to connect but I don’t have a password. Tried my iPad and Phone, no luck. The whole reason I bought it was to see the air quality level in my house and all the other App data. No support to speak of. In my 10 minuets of running couldn’t make things display in Fahrenheit. Cool product. App blows. Now I have a super expensive pot. Tried unplugging for an hour. Still no luck. Can’t sync with phone app after losing it... help ### 1/5 — Not ready for prime time. *2017-08-22, version 1.0.4* It would seem that an app for a flower pot wouldn't need to be complex; I assume this is the approach the makers took as well, but it needs a bit more. No i's dotted or t's crossed in the making. It looks nice, but at about 75%. L’app funziona solo in modalità direct comunicando con il Clairy solo tramite il suo wi-fi. In passato ci sono stati problemi simili, questi sono stati risolti molto lentamente dagli sviluppatori. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work, hasn’t worked for a very long time! *2020-05-21* Can’t connect to the Clairy network ### 1/5 — Riddled with bugs *2020-05-01, version 2.0.7* Everything worked fine until about 2 years ago. This app has so many bugs it's hard to even know where to begin. Every time the app is opened I have to re-enter all the credentials, nothing ever gets saved. Then once that's done, it hangs for ages and never succeeds in connecting the device to my WiFi network. Only a direct connection using the Clairy network is possible, so none of the data like air quality etc. can be tracked over time, rendering this app to be useless. I have contacted support and the only advice they can give for any problem is to restart the whole thing. I can't count how many times I've had to do that just to get it functioning to this level. I previously had an issue where the device’s WiFi wouldn’t switch on. I suppose the developers have stopped bothering because it's an old, discontinued product. It asks for your home WiFi SSID and password. Why would I share it in the app? It’s a big NO for security. Then when I tried using its own SSID, it worked for first time. Now it does not. All this concept works if app works and this company should have tested this before releasing the app! ### 1/5 — Can’t connect to WiFi *2018-12-18, version 2.0.3* I’ve had this for over a year and although, I think it is working the app does not. It requires to be tapped in to the Clairy WiFi but the signal is so weak the app doesn’t work on it. I’ve tried connecting to my home WiFi and accessing the app but it doesn’t allow me to. If I add 1 or more timers and can turn on/off them by switching the button on the right side, this timer button also turn on/off the fan regardless the main on/off button on the main fan-control page. I think the main button is independent of the timer button. Please fix it, thanks! [v1.2.6: solved] The time-zone bug is fixed & the server is back now. I set my phone wi-fi to the Clairy network temporarily and can then see all the data the pot is collecting. I was able to easily set up schedules for weekdays and weekends. I’d like to be able to choose Celsius or Fahrenheit or even see both side by side. ### 2/5 — My Clairy has stopped responding *2019-02-03, version 2.0.3* I was a huge fan of the clairy system but I recently tried to sync my clairy back to my Wifi as I got a new set up. During the set up process I got an error on the app that said something about cloud services issues. Since then I am unable to get the clairy to send out it’s WiFi signal making it unusable since I cannot sync it anymore. I am unable to get true support on the site and I cannot get it to set up after multiple tries. At this point the app has caused an issue that was not present before ### 2/5 — Deve migliorare l’app. *2018-10-02, version 2.0.1* Il progetto è davvero molto bello e interessante ma l’app deve necessariamente migliorare! Innanzitutto sarebbe ideale, credo ci voglia davvero poco, che riesca ad inviare delle notifiche quando l’aria è scarsa (assurdo che non lo faccia). Inoltre da remoto, quando si è fuori casa, è impossibile avviare e interrompere la ventola. Si riesce a comandarla solo se si è sotto la stessa rete Wi-Fi.
