## What is NaturalShot?

Why rotate your iPhone to record horizontal video when you can do it naturally?

NaturalShot lets you record video with your iPhone in portrait position — the way you always hold it — and automatically get two videos at the same time: one in 16:9 horizontal format and another in 9:16 vertical format. No rotating. One hand.

The secret is your iPhone camera: its field of view captures much more than what you see on screen. NaturalShot uses that full image to extract a horizontal frame that is wider than the vertical one, giving you a real widescreen video without sacrificing the vertical format.

YOU CHOOSE THE FRAME
On the main screen you can move the horizontal frame to choose exactly which part of the scene you want to capture in 16:9. Drag up or down and find the perfect framing before or during recording.

TWO VIDEOS, ONE TAKE
- Horizontal 16:9 video — wider, ideal for YouTube, cinema and TV
- Vertical 9:16 video — perfect for Instagram Reels, TikTok and Stories

PHOTOS IN BOTH FORMATS
Take a photo and instantly get the horizontal and vertical versions, saved directly to your photo library.

YOUR VIDEOS, ALWAYS ACCESSIBLE
All recorded videos are available inside the app so you can review them, share them or save them to your photo library whenever you want.

THE BEST PART: IT'S NATURAL
No more awkward movements to rotate your phone. No more videos that start tilted. Record the way you always hold your iPhone and get double the content.

KEY FEATURES
- Simultaneous recording in 16:9 and 9:16
- Photos in both formats saved directly to your library
- Adjustable horizontal frame in real time
- Built-in video player and manager
- Share directly from the app
- One-handed operation

Record natural. Record double. Record with NaturalShot.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 2.1 — 2026-07-28

Live preview improvements.

• Real-time preview: no more lag when you move your iPhone — including while recording.
• Pinch to zoom now only zooms — the horizontal frame stays in place.

### 2.0 — 2026-06-05

This is a major update to NaturalShot.

• Dual capture: every photo and video is saved twice — a wide 16:9 landscape and a vertical portrait — from a single take, phone held upright.
• Photo aspect ratio: switch between 16:9 and 4:3 right in the viewfinder.
• True-to-capture preview: what you frame on screen is exactly what gets saved.
• Cinematic stabilization for smoother video.
• Pinch-to-zoom plus quick .5× / 1× / 2× presets.
• Draggable landscape frame: set the vertical crop before or during recording.
• Built-in level indicator to keep horizons straight.
• Save destinations: keep captures in the app, send them to your iPhone Photos library, or both.
• Grab a still while recording without interrupting the take.
• Gallery polish: cleaner thumbnails and smoother browsing.
