## What is Naturblick?

With Naturblick you easily identify animals and plants and learn more about the nature in your neighbourhood. Take photos of plants and identify them with our automatic image recognition. Record bird calls and identify which bird is singing with the automatic sound recognition.

Overview of data collection
All data is collected for exclusively scientific purposes. As soon as the data is no longer required, it is deleted. The data that is collected and the extent to which it is collected may also be determined by technical requirements. When using this app, the following data is collected and stored anonymously in accordance with the GDPR:
- Sound and image recordings
 - Observation metadata (species name, geocoordinates, time, number, notes)
- Crash reports (stack traces, type of crash, trends and version of the cell phone and software)
- Device ID and metadata of the determination results (coordinates, time, determination history)
- anonymous usage data (information about your interactions with the app)
- Event data (details of specific user actions such as clicking on buttons)
 - Device data (details about your device, including device type, operating system and screen resolution)

Ich liebe die Naturblick-App. Statt meine Zeit auf Social Media zu verbringen, sehe ich mir nun zufällig ausgewählte Artenportraits an und lerne jeden Tag Neues kennen. Es macht einfach Spaß!

Es wäre toll, wenn man auch nachträglich Fotos zur Bestimmung nutzen könnte – oft macht man Fotos von Pflanzen oder Tieren außerhalb der Naturblick App. Leider kann man sie dann aber nicht bestimmen lassen. 🤔

Ansonsten 5 Sterne! ☺️

Tried the app and the identification feature fails miserably at even the most basic plants.

Not worth the download.  

If it is using machine learning, its implementation is very bad.

This year, we have linked our plant identification system to Pl@ntNet algorithms and are continually increasing the number of species that can be identified. However, misidentifications can still occur, therefore we recommend that you always check the important plant characteristics yourself.

Die Vogelstimmenbestimmung ist funktional sehr fragwürdig und die Ergebnisse sind eher falsch/unpräzise! Das war schon viel besser und geht auch viel besser. So ist das eher nervig und eher für Anwender geeignet, die keine Kenntnisse haben und alles glauben müssen 😉

Die App ist wirklich sehr einfach zu bedienen und auch ohne nennenswerte Vorkenntnisse nutzbar. Ich hab zwar Kenntnisse über die Flora, aber in meinem Job als Erzieher ist die App einfach Gold wert. Man kann die Fragen der Kinder zur Vegetation schnell und sicher beantworten.

Tolle App! Als Ergänzung würde ich mir im Bereich „Artportraits“ zu den Schmetterlingen noch die passende Raupe wünschen.

Bei Pflanzen, so wie bei Vogelstimmen und Schmetterlingen, hat sie mir schon tolle Dienste erwiesen und meine Vermutung bestätigt! Auch eine nette Challenge, wenn man sich in der Familie uneins ist und „Naturblick“ dann die Lösung bietet;)

### 4/5 — Tolle App - aber seit Update gibt’s Probleme

Liebes Naturblick-Team,
ich nutze eure App seit einigen Jahren -hauptsächlich um Vogelstimmen aufzunehmen und zu bestimmen. Das klappte bisher wunderbar. 
Leider funktioniert die Synchronisation seit dem neuesten Update nicht mehr. Ich habe ein iPhone 11pro. Inzwischen habe ich die gesamte App einmal deinstalliert (und damit auch mein Feldbuch gelöscht) und neu heruntergeladen, konnte das Problem damit aber nicht beheben. 
Es wäre sehr schön, wenn ihr eine Lösung dafür findet…

Hallo zusammen,
nach wie vor nutze ich die App häufig zur Vogelstimmen-Bestimmung. Funktioniert wirklich gut. Was ich immer noch heftig (!) bemängle (das hab ich schon mal vor ca 1 Jahr geschrieben), ist die fehlende Möglichkeit, Pflanzen aus der Fotogalerie zu bestimmen. Meistens ist dort, wo ich eine mir unbekannte Pflanze oder Blume sehe, eher kein oder schlechter Netzempfang. Fotos kann ich immer und überall machen, aber die Bestimmung halt ggf zu Hause und im guten Netz. Geht leider immer noch nicht. Aber die Hoffnung stirbt zuletzt. Ausserdem nutze ich die App trotzdem-danke!

Damit werden die Daten synchronisierbar und man kann Audio- und Bilddateien über den Desktop bestimmen lassen. Der Release dieser Funktionen wird noch diesen Sommer sein...
