Was wary of trying it as all the reviews complained bitterly that it spams you with rate this app pop ups. Was pleasantly surprised to find it no longer does. I like the clean, minimal interface and the ability to choose how much of each type of ambient noise you’d like. The rain and thunder sound may need some work—it doesn’t sound like a thunderstorm at all. Sounds staticky. The other sounds are decent, especially the campfire and the beach. ### 3/5 — Sound doesn't loop perfectly *2022-10-13* The rain sounds are nice and I like how you could customize the volume of the different sounds together, but the sounds fade in and out every 2 minutes. Sadly, I can't use the app if it fades in and out because it is too distracting when I'm sleeping. I downloaded the app and read through the reviews while I waited. People were saying something about having to pay $5 to get the full app and that made me a bit worried because I don’t pay money on apps because i know I’ll eventually delete it at some point. After waiting on the download I went into the app and was happy to see that there were two sounds free. But then I was once again disappointed to find out that the rain sound sounds NOTHING like rain. And the fire sounds so eerie to me! I sat and listened to it for a minute and I only lasted a few seconds before feeling so disturbed and quickly turned it off. I sit around campfires with my family often and they sound nothing like that. I’m sorry I really don’t like this. I’m giving my true opinion and I hope I’m not hurting ur feelings. I believe that I should always be honest because then things can improve. ### 1/5 — Cool Features but junk over all *2019-11-06* Pretty cool on the rain and fire sound making that you can control the features with a sliding bar increasing the amount of birds or thunder or fire popping. But what kills the whole app is the sound goes quiet after about two minutes For just a brief second making you think you got a text message or phone notification and your brain wakes up.
