### 4/5 — FluxCD

*2026-03-07*

Purchased lifetime - nice looking app. A FluxCD addition with the ability to force quick reconciles would be nice.

### 5/5 — Prometheus

*2026-02-28*

The software experience is great, but the Prometheus configuration is always incorrect. I hope some configuration examples can be provided.

### 5/5 — Amazing UI

*2026-02-13*

The app is overall amazing! Thank you for making this. Since this is for my homelab, I’m not sure if I’ll pay $50/yr but I’d say pay maybe $20/yr or so. It’s not super critical but I want to support your work. Even if I can’t unlock pro, perhaps have a donate option, so that peeps can donate whatever they think/feel is right for them but also allows supporting the app. Good luck and thank you.

### 5/5 — 🎉

*2026-02-13*

A very polished, deliciously crafted Kubernetes experience that operates consistently across all your devices.

Very comprehensive feature set. Lets me quickly browse the state of my cluster to spot and remedy problems.

I’m literally holding the remote control for my Kubernetes cluster in my hands and wearing it on my wrist.

This app was a joy to use at launch and yet somehow keeps getting incrementally better while staying fresh and modern following the latest OS updates.

When I say things like “I use Apple devices because of some of the great apps on ther platform” this is one of the ones I’m thinking of…

Thank you!

### 1/5 — Looks really cool

*2026-01-01*

This seems to be a pretty nifty tool for people who don’t want to bother with the command line just to check something in one of their clusters. Would immediately buy for 18 €, but certainly not for 180 €.

### 1/5 — app seems ok, pricing is ridiculous

*2025-10-18*

200€ for a kube app is insane, uninstalled immediately as its unusable without premium

### 4/5 — Nice UI, Nice App, best k8s client I saw so far on ios

*2025-10-10*

Really Love that UI. It’s amazing. And can even show my custom resources.

The only two things I would improve:
1) cannot click on the elements in the dashboard. Would be nice when I click on pods to get to the view of all pods, etc.
2) you write try pro, but then there is no trial phase. 7 days of pro trial would be amazing ;).

### 4/5 — Top notch kubernetes GUI, one of the”but”

*2025-07-29*

I have nothing to complain about the UI. It’s perfectly designed, fully integrated and functional. The one “but” is the pricing model. I have my home lab that I like to access and manage when on travels. The basic version gives me 95% of what I want. The jump to Pro is $50/yr at this time. I wish there was some license for non-commercial use that is either cheaper or “per major version”. In other words, I’d love to give you $20/yr or $50 one time.. but not $50/yr

**Developer response:** Thanks a ton for the kind words! We hear you! A lifetime purchase option will be implemented in a future update.

### 5/5 — Best one out there

*2025-06-24*

By far the nicest k8s client for Apple devices. I'm using it on macOS, iOS, and iPadOS. No complaints, just awesome software. Keep it up!

### 3/5 — Good but needs improvements

*2025-06-22*

App is truly great, just trying it but copy pasting a kubeconfig file to add a cluster messes but yaml formatting because of which nautik cant import a cluster, hope it gets fixed in next release.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.9.8 — 2026-06-02

- The log search now highlights matches on the log lines and only optionally filters the log stream.
- We've improved the loading performance and reliability of the watchOS app and widgets.
- We've improved the scroll performance of views containing Prometheus charts.
- We've improved the rendering logic of CRD `additionalPrinterColumns`.

### 1.9.7 — 2026-05-04

- Custom resource views now render values from the CRD's `additionalPrinterColumns`, e.g. status, phase, or readiness, as dynamic table columns on list views and dynamic sections on detail views.
- The node shell now automatically falls back to a debug pod (with the node's filesystem mounted at `/host`) when the primary nsenter-based approach fails, e.g. on Talos Linux nodes.
- We've added new Siri Shortcuts for scaling resources, cordoning/uncordoning nodes, and suspending/resuming cron jobs.
- We've fixed a bug causing clusters with namespace-scoped RBAC credentials to show no workloads or resources, even when filtering to a namespace the credentials have access to. The app now properly falls back to per-namespace API requests when cluster-wide listing is denied.
- We've improved the performance of the namespace filters.
- Deselecting all namespace filters for a view now correctly switches back the filter to all namespaces.
- We've fixed a bug sometimes preventing custom resource lists that were pinned to the sidebar from being manually reordered on macOS.
- We've fixed a bug sometimes causing the node CPU metric chart to be rendered glitchy.
- We've fixed a bug sometimes causing duplicate items to appear on list views.
- We've fixed a bug causing endpoint slices to sometimes not be properly decoded and rendered on recent Kubernetes versions.
- We've fixed a bug causing the height of multi-line table columns to sometimes glitch on macOS.
- We've improved the reliability of the cluster import via deep links.

### 1.9.6 — 2026-04-22

- We've improved the Prometheus settings, now including better help texts and error messages and a better selection experience of pods and services containing Prometheus endpoints.
- Prometheus settings now sync between devices via iCloud.
- OIDC clusters now support custom extra authorization URL parameters (e.g. `access_type=offline`).
- Labels and annotations are now rendered collapsed if there are too many.
- We've fixed a bug causing navigation titles on list views to sometimes glitch on iPadOS.
- We've improved the sizing of the main navigation menu on iPadOS.

### 1.9.5 — 2026-03-31

- The app now includes a cloud provider integration with Talos Omni.
- The app can now import clusters with OIDC auth from kubeconfigs relying on kubelogin.
- You can now import clusters into the app by opening a deep link to nautik://import?kubeconfig=[base64-encoded-kubeconfig-yaml].
- We've fixed a bug sometimes causing clusters not to be able to be deleted or showing back up after they had been deleted.

### 1.9.4 — 2026-02-21

Better filter menus, cron job actions, a scaling UI and an inspector sidebar!

- The app now features an optional inspector sidebar on list views on macOS and iPadOS, showing detailed information about the currently selected resource.
- We've rebuilt all filter menus on list and text views into popovers with a better opening and closing UX. A future update will extend them with advanced, context-based filter options.
- The app now includes buttons to manually trigger, suspend and resume cron jobs.
- The app now includes a stepper UI to manually scale replicas of workloads up and down.
- We've added a log buffer scrollback setting to change the number of log lines to load.
- You can now confirm non-destructive deletion confirmation dialogs using the return key.
- We've fixed a bug causing logs to sometimes display weird padding when toggling wrap mode on iOS and iPadOS.
- We've fixed a bug sometimes preventing clusters with a proxy URL from being added to the app.
- We've fixed a bug sometimes causing duplicate list selections on the Helm release list view.
- We've fixed a bug sometimes preventing multiple nodes from being cordoned or uncordoned at once.
- We've fixed a bug sometimes preventing clusters from being reordered on macOS.
- We've fixed a bug causing glass elements to sometimes not properly fade out when scrolling beneath the toolbar.

New in 1.9.1:

- We've improved the reliability of the search on the logs view.
- We've improved the app's multi-window behavior, now remembering sizes of different window categories and auto-hiding the sidebar when opening detail views or text-based views in new windows.
- We've improved the app's CPU usage, memory usage, and rendering performance.
- Unfortunately we've had to disable the inspector sidebar on macOS versions prior to macOS 26, since it was causing crashes for some users on older versions of macOS. We're sorry for this inconvenience.

New in 1.9.2:

- You can now set a secondary behavior for command-clicking on links and buttons on platforms supporting multiple windows, defaulting to opening items in new windows.
- On macOS, you can now also set a secondary behavior for command-clicking on top level main menu items, defaulting to opening items in new tabs.
- We've improved the design and reliability of the app's toast notifications.
- On macOS, the app now includes a window menu option to reset the current window's size to the default.
- On macOS, the app's settings now open in an extra window.
- We've added explanatory subtitles to the advanced options on Helm chart installation and upgrade operations.
- We've improved the reliability of temporary window color scheme overrides, e.g. when opening a dark terminal or text editor on a light window.
- We've fixed a bunch of remaining visual glitches related to Liquid Glass.

New in 1.9.3:

- When manually triggering a cron job, you can now choose its name instead of relying on the default generated name.
- We've improved the opening and closing behavior of the inspector sidebar.
- We've improved the performance of opening new windows and tabs.
- We've fixed a bug causing tab opening in fullscreen mode on macOS to sometimes open another space.
- The text field on the deletion confirmation dialog for critical resources is now properly cleared when submitting or canceling it.

New in 1.9.4:

- We've fixed a bug causing the app to sometimes crash when attempting to use Prometheus via an external HTTP endpoint.
- We've fixed a bug causing the app's Kubernetes client to sometimes get stuck retrying failed watch requests indefinitely when receiving a "resource version too old" error from the API server.
