Sometimes even in the same session. Please fix this. Generally works well. My two complaints… First- Logs out constantly now. Need to log in every time. Second- A micro drone is the only aircraft in my inventory yet the app defaults to Basic -EVERY-TIME. The app should allow the operator to set a default setup for type, altitude, and radius. I shouldn’t have to enter that every time if I only have one aircraft in the inventory. I understand you may want operators to go through the steps to ensure proper flight assignments but users of the app are generally following rules. The extra steps are unnecessary IMHO. Even a “load last flight attributes button would suffice. ### 2/5 — Recent update not exactly great *2025-06-17, version 6.1.4* After the recent update it seems you have to plan your flight at least 24hrs in advance. Can not activate micro drone flight right away which is a huge hassle doing real estate media every day. Fix it. ### 3/5 — Great utility, really annoying though *2025-06-15, version 6.1.4* The app logs me out practically daily making me sign in again, for which it doesn’t even have a remember email check box. Also doesn’t support message autofill of 2FA codes so I have to input them manually. And of course, when I’m at location and it does this, most of the time I barely have signal to even get through the sign in process. But hey, once you get into the app it’s great. ### 2/5 — Complicated Facelift fails to address key flaws *2025-06-10, version 6.1.4* The long awaited and highly anticipated ‘major upgrade’ has produced a result that is disappointing. We’ll brush aside the fact that implementation was badly botched with users denied service for a full working day. The key concerns that included an inability to register a standard profile, a failure to allow map adjustments whilst setting flight limits and a cumbersome altitude adjustment arrangement have all been overlooked. Major commercial users may benefit from having another selection to satisfy about hazardous cargo - but how many drone pilots are affected ? This is an immense disappointment to all of us who NEED to use the app daily. Was there no Beta testing with real users ? Since I posted the review, NAV CANADA have offered their usual trite response; send an e-mail. This completely ignores the fact that I have expressed the same concerns in the last, both by e-mail and in telephone conversations with a consultant advising them. At one point, I was told that I’d be invited to contribute to review of a major update. That update was pushed back and no invitation ever came. It’s clear that the developers have no intention of listening to meaningful, constructive advice. ### 4/5 — Works good *2025-06-08, version 6.1.4* App works nicely. There are many days where we are grounded, with significant financial repercussions, because the app fails to work. Sometimes it won’t let us validate, sometimes it won’t load login information, sometimes it won’t allow the selection of a category of operation, sometimes it won’t pull use preferences/drones. All of these block the user from submitting a flight. it occurs on the app or online, and we have fantastic internet connection every time this happens. PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS. The newest version has us having to log in and get a code. It is adding a completely unnecessary step. The App did not require this until this newest update I cant think of any app I use, especially one I use daily, that makes me do this time consuming step(s). Not only have you made it difficult and asked even more irrelevant questions to every day drone flight you've now made it necessary to pull a different permit each time you land within an operations parameters. This is absolutely ridiculous if you are doing a project at a single site over a full day and will have pilots just leaving their app showing them in flight whether they are or not. How exactly does this help safety. Where is the feature to allow contact between pilots in conflicting airspace? Why are we still denoting drone flight time in days instead of hours like every other type of pilot quantifying their flight time? Its flight authorization, specially in a controlled airspace, automatic approval is just a flash whenever you have short on-coming flight requested by a customer or a quick flight at the end of the day to monitor daily work. The flight authorization is just there in your phone almost instantly that you don’t have to wait for hours.
