Jordi ### 2/5 — Just doesn’t work *2024-02-05* Paid for a subscription to try out this pay walled app and even after buying it, nothing worked. It seems like it needs a bit more work. The realtime captions feature is free to use, so there's no need to pay for that (just wanted to clarify). Just the fact that the called Person Must Klick on Start shareplay Makes it unusable for my grandma Otherwise Great ### 3/5 — Will keep using for now *2022-06-08* It was very hit or miss today. My girlfriend is Colombian and thought this would be easier for her, she sometimes needs to use more complex Spanish that I don’t know yet. The translation would just pause and sometimes just plain stop working. We would have to keep resetting the app to get it to work for only a few minutes. I’ll keep it for now and update rating if they can smooth things out. ### 2/5 — Good idea *2022-03-14* The interface is a little weird as it only shows one line of text at a time and only picks up my voice instead of the other person who I’m FaceTiming with. Which is why I wanted this app to be able to see what the other person is saying. Maybe add more of a better subtitle format and make it so my voice isn’t picked up only the recipients voice. **Developer response:** Hi, that's not what's supposed to happen! It should be fixed in the latest version of the app if both people are running that version. Would love to hear back from you how it's working now. Which defeats the purpose since I’m the deaf one. ### 2/5 — Schöne Idee, aber aktuell leider nicht mehr *2022-01-14* Der Gedanke der Bisher fehlenden Untertitelung ist super, aber die Umsetzung aktuell nicht gut. Hab viel Kontakt zu Gehörlosen und was gesucht. Vorhin getestet. Lässt sich nicht direkt in FaceTime integrieren. Dein Gegenüber bekommt nur nen link, muss dann auch die App laden. Dann müssen beide in die Navi App wechseln. Der Untertitel ist nicht im bild, sondern ausserhalb. Das bild wird verkleinert. Mimik, Gestik, Lippenlesen erschwert. I have tried everything like uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I have also tried to reset my phone. Kind of sad because I paid $8.99 to subscribe as well ### 1/5 — Not working *2025-04-07* It has been spinning for hours downloaded redownloaded saying it’s trying to connect to a network ### 1/5 — App doesn’t connect to my phone or iPad *2025-04-04* I’ve gone through everything. I’ve deleted the app and have reinstalled it multiple times. On my iPad it pops up act like it’s gonna work and then cancels back out and disappears. I have also restarted my phone checked all settings in the app and it still says checking for “ connect device searching. I’ve even gone online to try to find videos of showing a complete walk-through of how to connect to Navi app but There is no such video out there. I would highly recommend making a video from downloading the app, connecting your phone and making the FaceTime call. ### 1/5 — No app support/doesn’t work *2025-01-22* Reached out to app developer with no response. I could only connect to the devices in immediate vicinity, using it with someone not around me was impossible. SharePlay doesn’t work. This was one of the most frustrating app experiences I ever had. Auch sonst müssen Hörgeschädigte zwei iOS Geräte nutzen, wenn zum Telefonieren Untertitel benötigt werden. Nach wie vor bleiben die Regionen Canada und USA Hoheitsgebiete für die Hörgeschädigten dort. Helps my mom when mirrored on the tv. And my sister can turn the volume down. The call devolved into fits of laughter every time more than one person talked. Some of the stuff that came on the screen was hilarious!! I would like it if the side that doesn’t need it can just have the full size video. But it’s not bad. Just a thought. Keep up the great work! This is a great app. The update fixed the problem. Thanks devs! UPDATE! The developer reached out and was unaware of the problem. He submitted an update but also suggested I reduce my text size. I can’t do that because I need the larger text. Hopefully the update will fix that. I think this is a great idea but there is a black bar over the option to allow speech recognition.
