### 2/5 — My Honest Experience with Navi UPI

After using the Navi UPI app for several months, I noticed that the rewards gradually become almost useless. In the beginning, it gives a decent number of coins, but after some time, the rewards become very minimal. There are even times when you get zero coins for a payment.

Even when you manage to collect 5–6 coins at a time, you can’t withdraw the cash immediately. You have to keep accumulating coins until you reach the required amount, which makes the whole reward system feel pointless.

Another major issue is the transaction history. If someone sends me money or I receive a refund from another app, the transaction often doesn’t appear properly in Navi’s history. Sometimes I don’t even receive a normal SMS notification because Navi is connected to the payment system. So it becomes difficult to keep track of incoming payments and refunds.

Honestly, compared to Navi, PhonePe and Google Pay feel much more reliable and convenient. At least they maintain proper transaction details and make it much easier to track payments, refunds, and incoming money. After using Navi for a long time, I personally feel that the overall experience is quite disappointing.

I would also like to sincerely express my appreciation for the claim process during my daughter’s recent surgery. The procedure went successfully, and we are extremely grateful for the financial support and smooth coordination from your side. The overall experience has given us great confidence in your services.

That said, I believe there is a small area for improvement regarding repeated document requests. Streamlining this part of the process would make the experience even better for policyholders like us who live far from the city.

I had a very bad experience with the Navi app. I had taken out health insurance about 5-6 months ago and was paying the premiums every month. Then I fell ill and was admitted to a good hospital, relying on Navi's insurance, thinking that since I had medical insurance, I would get the claim. After being discharged, we applied for the claim, but the Navi team disappeared for 15 days, and then on the 15th day, they said that my claim had been rejected because it didn't fall under their policy, etc. But people get health insurance so that they can get treatment in a good hospital and get the money from the insurance. Our financial condition isn't good enough to cover such high hospital expenses. We were admitted to the hospital relying on Navi's insurance, and then they say it's rejected after 15 days. Very bad experience. And I didn't have any surgery, nor any pre-existing condition. I had a bladder infection, which can happen to anyone, so why doesn't it fall under their policy?

This is truly a great application for payments. I’m absolutely in love with it. The interface is simple, the rewards are amazing, and the self-transfer feature works seamlessly without confusing users. The app is showing UPI lite option and I have added the money, but I am not able to use the amount. The option is not coming when I am making payment, upi lite balance is not showing. I don’t understand the then why the money adding option is showing and taking money from users account. When I am trying to contact support it’s directing me to a chat bot which is not helpful. I have tried gpay upi lite which great and when I deleted the upi lite the balance amount I got back to my bank account. Here in navi app when I asked the chat bot to give a solution but it’s saying once the amount is added to upi lite I need to spend it through upi lite only, now I think my money is gone. So if you are enabling any features test it properly and make sure it works for everyone. Or give proper customer support to make it work.

### 1/5 — Misleading Income Verification Process Resulted in Unwarranted CIBIL Enquiry – Need Immediate Resolv

I am extremely disappointed with this loan app. I recently provided my income details for income verification, but to my surprise, I received a notification from CIBIL saying that an enquiry had been made in my CIBIL report. This should not be happening during an income verification process. The income verification should be a separate step, with no impact on my credit score. Instead, it looks like they have used it as a loophole to initiate a CIBIL enquiry, which is misleading and completely unacceptable.

If I agree to take a loan, I understand there should be an enquiry, but not under the guise of “income verification.” This feels like a fraudulent practice and I strongly urge the app developers to make sure that income verification and CIBIL enquiries are clearly differentiated. I would advise caution before using this app.

Few days back my wife got admitted in hospital, i already have navi health insurance with me. Thank god that i took navi health insurance. This is first time i used the claim process on Navi. And believe me the relationship manager called Naveen G R is so supporting and kind person who helped me out day and night with hospitalisation process and help me on each stage of submitting documents and claim process. He was always be available and responding quickly to my queries and reason is that i was easily available the cashless benefit of Navi. I think every insurance provider should have this kind of dedicated manager to help their clients. Overall i had a wonderful experience with navi insurance. I highly recommend everyone to go for it.

I took a loan of 2,30,000 from this app, with an interest charge of 45,000 for one year. Although I paid all my EMIs on time, I faced an unexpected delay of just 8 days on my 6th payment. Despite informing them that I would settle the payment within 10 days, the response from their recovery team was nothing short of harassment.

Their agents began calling me incessantly, day and night, threatening to reveal my personal information—such as my name, Aadhaar card, PAN card, and other details—to my friends and family, even planning to contact them for money. They even threatened to publicly shame me by shouting for money in my neighborhood. This level of intimidation was extremely distressing, especially since I had committed to clearing the overdue amount promptly.

When I requested their agents to identify themselves, they refused, likely knowing their recovery practices were unethical and possibly illegal. I genuinely hope that the RBI takes action against this app for violating credit regulations and protecting consumers from such unlawful recovery tactics.

After enduring this nightmare, I have cleared the loan, uninstalled the app, and am sharing my experience to warn others to avoid getting involved with this platform.

So i have took a personal loan from this app in which they are charging approx 1.75lakh interest for 48months. I had paid 25 EMIs on time but i have failed to pay the 26th emi due to fund issues and i have also conveyed the same to their executives but they are misbehaving me, harrassing and torturing me to get the emi money and illegally collecting the debt money. And no one share their agency name and their real name. They are just playing with RBI rules nd guidelines and one of the executive has suggest me to do suicide if I don’t pay the EMI. And threatened me that if I don’t pay it right now then they will share my personal information like adhaar, pan and picture with my family member. And when i told them to meet in person at my office’s address or somewhere else as i was not at home or i was not comfortable then still they forced me to meet a home and said if u are home or not we will visit to see if u will not be there then we will ask from your neighbours. The behaviour of their agents are pathetic they don’t know how to talk to the customers snd they never authenticate themselves like they are doing some fraud or illegal work. After that experience I really want to get this app should bhi banned in India. As due to their illegal recovery and wrong practice of debt recovery many people would have committed suicide as im also going through from this phase. Thanks

### 1/5 — Navi Spam and Don’t take loan from Navi App.

I has a bad experience. I took a personal loan from Navi, I had penalty charges for the month before the last EMI. I was request them to waive off the penalty charges. Its been agreed and promised that it will be done on due date of last EMI upon making an advance payment of last EMI . After paying it off, the last EMI due date has passed by 13 days. Still Navi hasn’t closed my loan as promised. Eventually, I don’t get response from the person who gave a promise and since then Navi imposed an additional penalty charges for not paying off the pending amount which is crazy and fooling the people for no reason. In 2023, there were contact number to speak with Navi Customer care and which is kind of trick that not reporting our problems to the customer support to get the solution. So, kindly don’t take loan from Navi App and interest is too high and If you miss a EMI, they will deduct more than 4 times a month which bring down your Credit score drastically
